I own a macintosh and I think it's actually much better than my windows laptop.
Bigger screen, bit more organized with the start menu and dock not combined, No blue screen of death, easier to change settings, better apps like Itunes and Ichat and all that... Then again, that's my thought's and not yours, and i've lived with a mac all my life, so i'm more used to it. They both have their ups and downs.
