If memory serves me right 6 speed manual makes your car go faster, and why challenge footwork? you can challenge minarae, heck u can beat even tyrrell with serga on that first track....

Incredible sound on this game. You can listen to bees, wasps, frying chips, static, white noise, long wave, short wave, medium wave, a growling 16 bit bear. Big thumbs up for the depressed Richard Clayderman on keyboards

paradoxical that's what I say and even in this game dedicated to ayrton senna can see that the races have a maximum of 6 laps, this game was made in 1992, and most controversial is that the races do not have a lap 7 , 6 at most, whereas in 1994 (two years later) 7 would be the Ayrton Senna's fatal lap

que paradojico es lo que voy a decir y hasta en este juego dedicado a ayrton senna se puede apreciar que las carreras tienen un maximo de 6 vueltas, este juego se realizo en 1992 , y lo mas controversial es que las carreras no tienen una vuelta 7, 6 como maximo, considerando que en 1994 ( dos años mas tarde) la vuelta 7 seria la vuelta fatal de ayrton senna

this is was the best f1 console game ever. I still measure all F1 games that came after it to this yardstick. The way you had to work up to better teams was such a cool model.

I remember that I got my MD on 93 X-mas, along with this game. And I played, played and played until got my fingers all rotten up...I still have both MD and this cartridge today, and I will keep for quite some time....

i only had the original monaco game which i loved! gonna get a megadrive off ebay so i can play it again. gonna get this game also as you get 6 laps instead of 5. and road rash, ea hockey and sonic

I loved this game. The Strange thing was that the day I got this game Ayrton died. I'm not trying to make some sick joke or anything, but I just found it really weird.

You too..? Yeah I got this in spring of 1994. I 'll be honest I never really known who Ayrton Senna was until I played this game and researched on the net years later finding out of his death. -_-..

But about the game, it can be fun but very hard.

Great video. I spent many an hour with ASSMGP2 in the early '90s, and even with the likes of Race Driver, Forza, PGR etc etc, this is still a fantastic game. For me, it's the best F1 game ever, easily beating Geoff Crammond and his wonky, overrated series.

I recently bought a MegaDrive again off Ebay and bought this game, i'm loving it at the moment, I played this game nearly every day when i was a kid and hadn't played it for 10 years since I sold my MegaDrive and when I started playing it again I was hooked! It's actually a real challenge when you play on automatic gear shift, it's easier with 7 speed manual shift but I play with automatic to make it harder and the world championship mode has good longevity!
