  • Nice vid! Me myself is anarcho-socialist, i believe in labour unions and direc action instead of partys and voteing. if you give me your hotmail we could discuss politics, you seem to be inteligent =D

  • Anarchism didn't have everything! It didn't have you. Great vid. Count me as a subscriber. Check out Left Marxists like Rosa Luxemburg. Don't know if I'll respond with a video but it's refreshing to see the path you took.

  • My path was similar. I recently read a blog comment that summed it up nicely, which I'll paraphrase: "I accepted right-wing economics before I knew anything about it, because I assumed it was a necessary component of libertarianism." Once I understood that left-libertarianism was not only possible, but actually more consistent, the door to socialism was opened to me. And since that door leads to Marx, I began to examine his ideas for the first time and loved what I found. That process continues.

  • Brilliant video!

It seems to me that you have considered a wide variety of political views and made an honest choice. I too think that atheism usually takes people away from the right, the right can be summed up in two words - capitalism and religion.

I think you would be interested in reading about the types of Marxism, such as Marxism-Leninism, Trotskyism etc. as well as the various types of Anarchism in order to understand the small yet important differences.

  • "I think you would be interested in reading about the types of Marxism, such as Marxism-Leninism, Trotskyism"

I plan on reading lenin works. Where do you suggest I start.

  • "The State and Revolution" is the perfect choice I think, it covers what will happen to the state during socialism.

  • I will look into that book, Thank you for the suggestion.

What would you suggest of Trotskys work?

Also have you read any of Luxemburg works?

  • For Trotsky, I would read about the idea of Permanent Revolution, but i haven't read any of Luxemburg's works yet.

  • Okay, Thank you for all the help.

  • For Luxemburg you should read "Reform or Revolution".

Trotsky I would suggest "Women in the Family", "The Revolution Betrayed" and "Permanant Revolution".

  • Marxism isn't a dogmatic philosophy. It's a method for interpreting the world, which is always changing.

I hope in some way I'm doing educational videos on Marxism but I'm not always sure.

Do you want to know people's political histories with this?

  • "Marxism isn't a dogmatic philosophy. It's a method for interpreting the world, which is always changing."

Then in that case I am very much a marxist.

"I hope in some way I'm doing educational videos on Marxism but I'm not always sure."

I think your videos on marxism are very good.

"Do you want to know people's political histories with this?"

    Yes.

  • I'll try to respond with a non-convoluted video within the next day or so

  • I am looking forward to it.
