  • No you dont Danny.

  • Koo Koo Witchcraft

  • I still want you!

  • I'd like to know who played the keys on this cut. I forgot who did the track, and lost my albums. Very 'Stones-esque playing in this one. I have always been a fan of the Del Fuegos. Used to go into the Rat or Bunratty's with a good fake ID to see them live! Always a great show, the heyday of Boston rock...

  • dont matter how lousy my day has been music like this and i forget the whole thing. good music makes everything better.

  • "The Del Fuegos Rock"! thank you for posting this yakidk89, it brings back many good memories! I love "The Del Fuegos!"

  • The Del Fuegos are reuniting.

  • @StoogeWatcher this makes me happy!!!!!

  • Eddie and the Cruisers and Del fuegos days...good times. one was a fantasy and the other was a dream. they both are a place you can go back to in time all it's own.

  • I can drive around the town with my head in my arms down on a frown and I want to let you know that as long as I am raised by the praise I'm not down on the ground and I'll be your favorite clown let the cops chase us upsidedown sideoftown where somethings lost but love is found in edgy sounds like this.

  • HOLY SHIT

DEL FUEGO IS DEFINITELY MY NICK NAME!!!!!

  • For " All the Girl,s In My Backseat 74 Buick !

  • Dedicata ad un amico che non c'è più

  • Does anybody out there have DEL FUEGOS "Another Night On The Town?"

  • @steelking22 ..no but i've got the first three and i'd be interested to find or find out about the fourth

  • I still feel like driving around at night, just like i did years ago to this. Great song!

  • I know where the singer/guitarist is lol!!!! its a secret!

  • Looking in the Rain ..for her :(

  • Actually from Concord NH

  • song still brings tears to my eyes. 1985. wish i had a time machine.

  • what a fuckin great band

  • love this song so much

  • I remember some vague interview where they were asked why they were named the del fuegos. The answer was they figured that that was as low as they could go. :)

  • great song, great album, great band

  • I saw these guys play my college in 87. Terrible weather, maybe 20 people showed up. They played an incredible set, and invited the entire audience backstage.

  • Holy crap!! thats Dan Zanes,my daughter wathched him on one of the kids channels when she was five or six,he's doing quite well with that.

This & the church "Under the milky way tonight" two of my favorite '80's tunes,

  • Hey how about another reunion guys....

  • I taught these guys how to play.

They would open for us and fawn all over us.

Then they get famous and I got stuck in some crazy prison hellhole fighting jigaboos and guzzling pruno. Prison is not good.

The booze stinks and the drugs are real expensive. But I knew a guard. I got all sorts of shit. Porn, valium, heroin, white lighting.

Prison hooch will get you horribly drunk. I STILL WANT YOU.

    What a lame song.

They make The Taxi Boys sound good!

    and yes...

    ITs GLADE

  • cool story

  • Its all true. I'm like a total loser. I don't like to put BASTIN bands down... Ya I do. They suck. They are worse than me. And I blow. I can hardly play. I suck big time. But my videos make up for my lame records. Action packed movies! Exotic girls beating me to death! I LUV IT! You live a lot more exciting life than me. All I do is lift weights, letch on college girls, and work. TBD
  • Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel.

  • Dan Zanes & Friends - often played on Sirius Satellite Radio " Kids Place Live " awesome ! Great song = check out " Colas"

  • god i remember this song..still sounds good ..

  • I remember seeing the Del Fuegos a couple of times... I know the tape got worn out on a trip from Boston to FL with two of my buddies. Boston Mass is one of those few albums that I can listen to from start to finish... I may be mistaken, but I think there was a show at Great Woods with the Del Fuegos, the Georgia Satellites, and Tom Petty... Awesome...

  • @dgeithner: I remember that show! As I recall, it was a great show. Too bad these guys couldn't hold it together. They were great!

  • Great song, was missing this one. Thanks for uploading! 5 stars and favorited!

  • Superbe groupe, — rare ! Les Del Fuegos existent-ils encore ?

  • Saw these guys in a bar in West Berlin, not far off the Kurfurstendam and the wall, in 1987. They were AWESOME!

  • Reminds me of the days back in the Rathskeller in Boston...better backing and they'd have been a headlining act

    best scene ever

  • Awesome! Thx for posting! God, I loved this band! Still do! Thx!

  • me too man, great band are they still producing?

  • Dan Zanes (lead vocals) has a busy and successful career making "family music". His Dan Zanes & Friends CDs are fantastic: music that kids love and that parents can listen to without wanting to hurl. He puts on an amazing live show, too.

  • i had a subscription to "Boston Rocker" magazine...it was a GREAT little mag...cooler than spin or rolling stone and on parr with brit's best like the NME & Sounds

  • Great band, great song, great time!

Can I find " Another Night on the Town" somewhere?

And where can I find some Del Lords stuff, especially " Love Lies Dyin'"

    Thanks

  • Damn, I still adore this song! Those bands were splendid ... Del Fuegos, Del Lords, Hoodoo Gurus, etc... But euhm... just have a search for "Dan Zanes" here on You Tube!! HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! :-))))))

  • The Boston rock scene...wow...

-What was that song that cursed any DJ that played it..??

something about being on the right side of satan..?

-Oh yea..the Titanics..- bad shit happens- dont listen to it. its a curse.

  • I was raised by rock bands, including this one.

This was the first rock band I ever saw, and I think the nosebleed I got was from how much air the bass bins at the Ratt were moving. Once in a life time right place right time.

  • What a great band they were! I remember getting this album and their first one, "The Longest Day". Terrific stuff. You know, Dan and Warren Zanes are still involved in music today. Dan does children's music, which is usually seen on Disney Channel ("Dan Zanes' House Party") and it's pretty good. Warren works for the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and he helps put together The Mountain Jam here in upstate New York.

  • y'all should do a search for Dan Zanes (lead singer here). He's still a force in the industry but it may suprise you!

  • Takes me back to the Channel Boston Mass!!! Early 80*s

  • God I miss the channel!!

  • love this song boston native i was to young to go to the clubs and bars

  • A great album from a great band!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember these guys from back in the 80's and this song is still famn good!

  • Carlos, te recuerdo escuchando esto día tras día en casa, 1986... aquellas tus melancolías. Si te pasas por aquí, para mí este sonido eres tú. Besos, tu hermana.

  • Anyone have the Delfuegos tune "Coupe Deville"?

  • Beleive it's on the "Boston, Mass." album. Good luck finding it....and get me a copy!!

  • You can now download a copy on Amazon MP3! They never sounded better.

  • What movie was this song in? I still have the vinyl of this! LOL. Thanks for posting.

  • I absolutely love this mid-'80s classic alt. rocker! Was the "Boston, Mass." album ever released on CD? Sadly, I don't have a copy of the album (either on vinyl, tape or CD).

  • You used to be able to find it second hand on ebay, but now I think you can get all their CDs brand new on Amazon - YES, I think they've been re-released!!

    :))

  • It was released as part of a twofer CD (1st and 2nd LP) around 2001

  • Wow! Blast from the past. Put this up there with "Beat So Lonely" from Charlie Sexton!

  • Wow,the Del Fuegos was one of my favorite live shows...at some dive in Worcester, MA. Packed like sardines, a small club, but it was small and intimate, and the Fuegos rocked the house. Good Times...

  • Play this in the Fall with the rain comin down the leaves falling while you think about some long lost lover, and you will understand the full emotional impact of this beautiful song.

  • hace más de 20 años escuchaba y me deleitaba con esta pedazo de canción. Siguen sonando a puro rock n´roll del bueno!!

  • They never played this on the radio when I was a kid, I've never heard it. Weird. Maybe he just wasn't popular here or something, I have no idea why not.

  • Boston, Mass.. .one of my fav albums. Still have it on vinyl. I loved this band. Wondering if they ever play together anymore? Reunions maybe? That period of the mid '80s put out so many great bands. I haven't heard music similarly as strong sense. Lost memories of a fascinating era. Thanks for the post.

  • The lead singer, Dan Zanes, now has a "family music" band called Dan Zanes and Friends...music that is appropriate for young children and their families...it's really good, too...doesn't play "down" to children, but has a nice folksy/bluesy sound, incorporating Americana and World Music, within their repertoire. They played at the Somerville Theater in Davis Square, Somerville, MA, earlier this year. They tour across the country.

  • Do they play any Del Fuegos material?

  • Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Sadly, no, they don't play any Del Fuegos music!

  • What a great Song!

  • Cocord N.H. Still love em.

  • Yeah! My favorite song!!! Well...one of them...

  • I'd love to see all their albums out in print again, especially their first album, "The Longest Day". That record was just as good as "Boston, Mass."

  • I downloaded this album and have it in my car now.... this is all I listen to... short lived band of the 80's.... no filler ... no fluff... just great music

  • Good stuff!

Be sure to check out their 1st album 'The Longest Day'. As good, if not better than Boston, Mass. Though, all the songs on that album are on their 'Best of Slash Years' CD.

    It rocks!!!!

  • The Longest Day rocks! "When the news is on" is my favorite one. Great Garage Sound!

  • Hell yeah!! Great taste.

That too is my fave song of theirs!

  • And there's another one: I've heard it on John Peels Music in the early 80's, I don't know when it was released. It's called something like: "She Called Me, I Always Call Her Back" - that's at least the chorus. Check out this one!

John Peel quote: "rather psychedelic" - he liked them a lot!

  • this brings back so many great memories. Thanks for posting this
