I knew it wasn't the bottle that flew past the screen because that was only a few feet away from where I was stood, but I couldn't suss what had happened at the time and thought it was one thrown from near the stage. They were only plastic bottles, it was all in good fun, it wasn't to create a disturbance or mess up the band. It was a fantastic gig, everyone was very happy.
And yes, it was fantastic. I wish it was happening again this weekend!
Like I say, it was a great atmosphere. Felt safe at all times, even when squeezing through literally layers of folk to get to the bar now and again! I was apologizing for standing on toes and they were apologizing back (not the toes - their owners!)!
