@predatorvmt I know it's been awhile since you posted that, but I had to say it. It's probably because the Gekko had more armament properties for conventional weapons such as rockets, guns etc than REX but not for raw attacks like REX's kick.

REX wasn't killed or destroyed, but merely disarmed. REX was later used in MG4 against the other Mech.

baruttv, you can use flash grenades to block the radar and attack Rex easier. I found that to be a real good tactic.

Nah. The gekkos in MGS4 are more manuverable, faster and less bulky than Rex. Metal Gear has more power, thats true but, it's to slow.

That is probably why Snake didn't tell Naomi how Fox died and told her a False yet Beautiful Lie that still fits him saving Snake and the World. I thought that maybe in MGS4 Snake tells the Truth to Naomi but i'm not sure since the Truth about is best left hidden I suppose. Still, Poor Naomi... :(
