dude the whole thing just sent all the maggots in a tale-spin....myself included, im not gonna lie, i cried about it, i decided to listen to snuff the afternoon of the day he died and just fuckin cried for like a half hour over it... these guys have been my favorite band since '02 and now paul's gone... the good news is that slipknot have already announced that they WILL continue w/o paul and each of them are gonna play bass for the new record, but joey says they dont know about live yet....

No matter how many people hated on slipknot..I can confidently say that almost every metal band has been influenced by slipknot in one way or another. theyv'e put a decade of work into Music, Shaping what is modern metal. In years we will look back on Pauls passing as we do on many others such as Cliff Burton and Dimebag. Even though Paul is gone, the music created will live on. Rest In Peace Paul
