I don't know why I love this movie as much as I do. It's not particularly good or well acted (adequate, but not spectacular), exciting, etc. Maybe for a reason similar to why I love The Eiger Sanction. I love late 60's - mid 70's rural European landscapes.

Back when skiing was beautiful, chicks skied on long skis and guys skied on really long skis!
