Talking about fat couriers: I was a whip-thin courier for most of 8 years in SF, DC and Richmond, back in the early 90s to the 2000s, best job I ever had. I live in Europe now but am thinking about going to Australia for a year and getting back on the bike for one last delivery. Yeah, and I'm 35 and 275 pounds 8-]......

For me I'm so glad to see a messenger community in SD.

I plan to bring the Velocity tour to SD. Last year riding the track in the park loads of fixies were outside the fence watching. I want you guys involved so we will bring track racing to the messenger community in 2009. Look for us.

I like this avanides character. He seems to be a genuwine numbskull. I would take him up on his ten buck bet, but I would have to wait another couple weeks for him to get his monthly allowance from dad. You see dad gives him twenty bucks a month to rid the front yard of dog poop. Each month avanides makes a silly ten dollar bet on youtube and then he blows the other ten on bubblegum and pork rinds.

Verbosity, toward one end with terseness (lack of superfluity) toward the other.
