We see dives so often I don't even care anymore, and yet the foreign ones are always the ones vilified. English players are actually worse - at least Diouf and Drogba admitted they dived. That was not a penalty but it wasn't a dive either, Rooney was throwing his leg out in front of him to try and make some contact with the ball, he wasn't diving. This is just the referee being stupid. Anyway this was a friendly match, there's no reason to dive as the result means nothing.

However, if you're Bolton and get 5 players to block the goalkeeper at a set piece it's okay. If you apeal for a corner or throw-in that you know isn't yours, it's also okay.
