CN kept all the violence for naruto. Until I start switching to the uncut episodes because they stopped dubbing in CN. I guess it was around 04 or 05. When CN was kinda decent. Sonic X was terrible, they should've left it along in japanese. 4kids ruined it.

I forgot to mention after seeing this video I got to say those voices in that clip were perfect, especially that voice for Sonic sounds awesome for him I hope Funimation takes Sonic X and redubs it and make it uncut the way it should be in the first place and I think they will get a lot of money that way, that's just me though.

As much of Sonic fan I am. I have to say that Sonic X was a really boring show no matter what language it was in. The fight scenes were slow, they had this random human kid tagging along with them... It was a pretty bad show. The animator's should've took some inspiration from the Sonic OVA.

Sonic X could've been better if they had the high-speed battles from DBZ. The animation was too bright in my opinion. If they could've darker it like Taki Corp did with Sonic OVA. Then, the series would've been a sucess. Oh yeah, and lose the random human characters like Chris.

"Shit" "Hell" :Bastard" and "Damn" were the only swearing I heard in the Japanese dub. but those type of swear words I'm ok with being in the anime since they were exclusive in the Japanese.. But Sonic saying "Fuck" would definitely not be appropriate for the English dub. I was using that last clip as an example.

It would've been nice. But down on the swear words. (SEGA wouldn't have allowed the profanity). It's good that 4Kids may be losing their licenses when it comes to certain anime titles (like Pokemon and One Piece).

@game6285 sorry for being a broken record.....but Champloo was dubbed in LA. Geneon (another studio) also got closed like ADV and the rights to Champloo were given to Funimation to distribute, but this happened YEARS after the show was already dubbed. Same with Panic. ADV dubbed it many years before FUNimation got rights to distribute it.

Chris Patton as Sonic wouldn't be bad at all. Pretty good. But Air Gear is not dubbed by FUNimation Entertainment. They wouldn't use so much swearing if they dubbed it. And it was dubbed by ADV.
