why? because the Joker is so cool? okay but it could have happened in the last 5 minutes of the movie, and they should have skipped the whole Two-Face subplot. that could have been enough plot for the next movie.
"The Dark Knight" will surpass the 500 million mark by the end of the weekend. I truly believe that this film will surpass "Titanic" which made 601 million back in 1997/1998. Who gives a crap about adjusted for inflation. If ticket prices weren't as high in todays market then yes, I believe that it would come close to making 1 billion dollars domestically. I've already seen this film 5 times and anyone out there that hasn't seen the film is missing out on a really superb masterpiece.
good review this movie was amazing im planing to get a heath ledger joker tattoo big fan of this joker that he gave to us he will truly be miss " This World Deserves A Better Class of Joker ... And Heath Gave It To US" lol What a Film peace p.s it might sound crazy of geting a tattoo of heath's joker, but people get devils, and a whole lot of werd, evil, stupid s**t. why not heath's joker lol that'll be awesome!!
The dark Knight got mostly good reviews, and I have heard very few negatives. On Rotten Tomatoes it got a 94% approval rating with movie critics. The Dark Knight has made somewhere around $400 million so far, and thats including people who went to see it a 2nd and 3rd time, and merchandise has been flying off the shelves, and you call that not living up to the hype?lol
That maybe true, but people will always make those comparisons. In my review I was pointing out that I prefer a more realistic Batman movie, although I did like the first two Tim Burton movies, but I didn't like 3 and 4. You can make the case about living comic book and drama, but you can't make the case about quality when comparing those films.Nolans films are just simply the best.
Maybe they are just out of stock. When I got mine there was only four left, but maybe in the future they will get some. The movie is big, and merchandise is flying off the shelves.
The face is made by Computer Graphic Intergration. The eye balls and teeth are able to move because of it. This movie is great to a point you can't tell the difference between the real thing and CGI.
I think he wiil, because I find it hard to believe that he would just go into hiding and never come back out to start more trouble in Gotham. If the movie makes what it needs, then there will be a sequel.Warner Brothers knows they have a nice product here. The opening was $66.4 million, not bad.
Well thank you.I liked Bale's voice in this movie, especially when he was in the interrogation room losing his patience with Joker. When he raises his voice, it is part of Bale's trademark with the character, and the audience notices this. When that scene came up some people were smiling and laughing and I was also, because this is how this Batman interrogates. WHERE IS HE!! WHERE IS HE!!....I like it.:)
I enjoyed both, Jack Nicholson, and Heath Ledger as the Joker.

totally agree. tim burtons batman was very cheesy and unbelievable. This new batman franchise is much more intelligent and believable.

so boring. it was only slightly better than new Indiana Jones. but way too much pointless talking. why did Batman not simply kill the Joker?!

for one batman doesnt kill and it would have ruined it

Yes it was Joel Schumacher, but it was part of the same movie series. When I said Tim Burton I meant the Batman movie franchise of the 90's.

I bought it at a store called Spencer's Gifts. Spencer's Gifts is a store that's commonly found in malls.

Yea... building explosions are commonly found in movies but I too find the explosions in this movie exceptional.

If that's the case it had me fooled. The way the eye moved around looked mechanical.

I can assure you that the joker won't be back, and whether there will be a sequel is not even certain.

This movie is far beyond just making batman seem real. The movie is successful in every aspect: plot, music, action, performance...

I agree with all of that. I bought the Movie soundtrack today, it's awesome!
