@brb1006 they discontinued the meet and greet of roger rabbit its becuz that he's slipping behind of popularity and we havent seen the character in 23 years but i heard that disney announced that they are going to make a squeal to roger rabbit and its going to be hand drawn and if they made a roger rabbit 2 they have to bring back the character cuz i think its time for roger rabbit to come back to disney so the new generation of kids will get to know him

It came out in 1982, and it almost singlehandedly ruined the entire Atari franchise and caused the North American video game industry crash of 1983! My point is that one must be wary of the 'nostalgia filter'. Every generation has its successes and failures: this song is one of the successes of the past, and ET on the 2600 was one of the failures. Get what I'm saying now?

I think I figured out why Star Wars is at Disneyland/Disneyworld. Walt Disney was the one who thought of making Star Wars. But when he died, George Lucas was the one that made his idea come to life.

The only thing I miss about the 90's-age Disney parks is Roger Rabbit, he was great! I'm not saying that the Pixar characters suck or anything, because that's a total lie(Hannah Montana definitely does, though), but Roger was unique because he wasn't exactly a Disney arch-type. The closest thing to that sort of character these days is Stitch.

It is the Astro Orbiter, back in 1998 they remodeled Tomorrowland. One of the things they got rid of was the People Mover, which is what the old Astro Orbiter sat on top of. At that time, it was a scaled down version of a Saturn V rocket. They also removed the Gondolas that went through the Matterhorn. During the remodel the put the Astro Orbiter on the ground and put a fancy anntenae thing on top of the old People Mover complex in the Center of Tomorrow land.
