@adamazoulay I tore apart an old monitor and carefully removed the back lighting, then placed the (extremely fragile) LCD panel on a standard overhead projector. The results are allot better than I expected they would be. Projectors with high resolution are expensive and this thing cost me next to nothing to build. The only down side is that the overhead projector puts out allot of heat, and it is big and bulky.
how did you connect your audio video source?

@Anyo2010 The monitor that I used has a built in tuner and component connections.
