  • your shutter gonna hate me, but don't stop making hdr timelapse ;)

  • very nice timelaspe! but can i ask? what is the name of this music in your video? Thanks!

  • good work but you need to work a bit on the flow of the video. What was your shooting time and intervals?

  • awesome!!!

  • Very nice Picture.

  • Sweet!

  • amazing

  • 00:24 Fascinating, never knew clouds could move in opposite directions. [8-)

  • That was sweet!

  • It's not HD though like says???? Well done!

  • Wow! any pointers?

  • I wish it was longer... It's really good.

    What is the music?

  • That's porno. WOW!

  • stunning!! :-O so beautiful

  • Looks amazing.

    Good Job.

  • how did u do the zoom out in the last scene

  • Where is this taken?

  • this is really amazing, i liked this video :)

i wish i could do one of these.

  • Let me get it clear: to make a HDR time lapse you have to shoot 3 times the typical amount of frames? Is there some automated software that makes automated HDR from multiple frames?

  • NICE ! HDR TIME LAPSE IS LIKE A DREAMLAND

  • Could you tell me the name of this music. Thank you

  • es magico

  • es magico

  • Absolutely beautiful time lapses. I'm just entering the world of HDR. I shoot a lot of time lapses regularly, and am starting to try and shoot some HDR time lapses. I'm seem to be having some problems with my tonemapped images flickering in the video even though I have used the same exposure settings in camera. Any ideas?

  • wow nice work!

and the last is amazing, look at the sky! wow! they are moving into 2 directions!

  • Sweet stuff, great work!

  • tak kirain ngedit per frame, modar wae mas...

  • Take my hat off to you for this, really need some help with doing this. EXCELLENT WORK

  • hey great work! u must be proud!!!

  • Cool! but if your camera has infrared remote capability, you or someone who want to try time-lpase photography, could use an infrared time-lapse remote like this one: tempus.bymac.org

  • what is the name of the song??

  • Beautiful Video!! (Y)!"

  • isnt it better to film it for a long time and then speed it up?? instead of taking tons of pictures?

  • great video..

  • stunningly beautiful

  • It would be better if it was not run through that god awful program, HDR looks like gaudy plastic weirdness

  • @peterleix79 you will not achieve the HDR effect

  • Nice work.

  • Beautiful video, and I am guessing the sound track to this video is jean michel jarre but i can't put my finger on it. From reading the comments a question has been asked for the last two years with no response so i ask,can you please tell us the music background details. Thanks .

  • brilliant

  • Like this :) good job...

  • Was it 7545 bracketed shots, or 7545 shots AFTER processing to HDR? How many shots per bracket, 3? Great work!

  • Thanks

  • Great job tutorials please.... Im amazed

  • @pur3lusion here is my tutorial; flickr.com/groups/hdrtimelapse/discuss

  • @sqbbe it's... not there :(

  • @sqbbe hey what were your intervels? 1 shot every `10 seconds?

  • @sqbbe Hi both flickr links are not found. Can I have your flickr account please so I can find your tuts manually?

  • WoW it's crazy great job.... You should make a tutorial for this

  • @rodriguesjr671 here is my tutorial; here is my tutorial; flickr.com/groups/hdrtimelapse/discuss/72157609954888175/

  • Nice 7.545 shots it's about 5% of cameras shutter life, but still nice.

  • with it being HDR, how do you capture the three shots quick enough to make a time lapse like this.. i'm so amazed!

I gotta try this with my Canon 7D

  • @alteclansingco you don't need 3 shots for HDR you can also make from 1 shot. Of course it wont be as good as made from 3 shots.

  • did u convert every file to HDR separately or did u have some preset that could apply to all files without having do to the whole 3 exposure routine for every pic?

  • @snelpiller I'm wondering this same thing

  • Wonderful

  • shweeeet

  • ☆ ★ ☆ GREAT PICTURES ☆ ★ ☆

    ☆ ★ ☆ FANTASTIC MUSIC ☆ ★ ☆

  • How much shots you did in each film? and did you use raw?

  • @raasde You can't really use RAW in HDR time lapses, since you need to take multiple pictures for each frame. Time lapse photography is memory intensive as it is, but using HDR can instantly quadruple the amount of storage space needed.

  • this is the first HDR lapse I've seen . . . pretty awesome stuff!

  • This is beyond awesome. Nice work.

  • i love hdr...some people over do it and it looks like absolute shit...this is really good though

  • 3 people don't like clouds....bwah ha ha ha

  • What camera do you use?

  • @KingNuada86 Nikon D300

  • Really nice work, how did you do the panning, zooming? Was this software or manually on the camera during the lapse, sorry if this is a dumb question

  • @angus9541 Panning and zooming is done in post with adobe premiere elements

  • @angus9541 it can be done with most editing software, I can do the same thing with AVID and I'm almost entirely sure Final Cut and other higher end video editing software has that feature as a staple . . . I think even Pinnacle and Vegas have it too . . .

  • WOW!!! That is one of the best uses of HDR i've seen so far!!! you 've done an amazing job m8!! Kudos and Respect!

  • That looks like from another star..epic.. very very good..I've never seen before a HDR Video.. Though it just exists in photography.. :-O

  • that's just amazing work!!!

such a pleasure to watch! plz, keep on surprising us!

btw, can u tell what the song name, plz!

    Tc

  • how do you batch edit with photomatrix?

  • Beautiful work sqbbe! A pleasure to watch. Thanks for sharing it.

  • holy that's so beautiful <3 ahhhhh love it!

  • sure hope u didnt have to hdr every single pic one by one :P

  • amazing, congratulations from mexicô

  • amazing!!!! the obvious question is HOW!!!!!?????

  • Simply out from a dream. Stunning beyond words. You're a genius!

  • nice I will try it out

  • awesome...

  • excellent work!!!!

  • EPIC and breathtaking.

  • if u know about the flickering problem,

would the "exposer level increasment" if set to 1/2stop, instead of 1/3stop, would it help?

  • @iraqiboy90

forgot to say "when using AV mode"

  • Wow, great work.

  • What the name of the track?

  • flawless

  • Stunning !!

  • Wow, just wow! Awesome time lapse, I'd love to do HDR time lapses, but I'm afraid my computer may explode processing all the images!

  • What a great clip ! We included Your Video in our AWARDED section ! Super Music and Images ! Loving it !

  • wow amazing! I am going tot try this for myself!

  • OMG, 0:41 - 0:52 was amazing, reminds me of when I was little watching Teletubbies. :) Fun looking. HDR is truly an amazing feature. Hands down.

  • That would be awesome if there were cams that could shoot video in HDR. lol

  • what do you do all that time

  • What program did you use to tone map?

  • haha our eyes suck. it would be cool to see with greater dynamic range.

  • wow your work is simply amazing!

  • This is just stunning...

  • COOL! May I use the parts with water in a vid? I give credits..

  • @FangnclawXD What kind of vid are you planning?

  • @sqbbe a video for the song Liquidity Suncatcher Remix. Just want the 1st scene of this for the opening...if I make the vid that is..

  • @FangnclawXD sure. go ahed

  • @sqbbe Ah, ok thanks. If I make it I'll send u the link and of course you'd be mentioned.

  • perfect job!!!!!!

  • so you made 3 pics for each frame or the camera makes hdr pics itself?

    Amazing time lapse

  • @Allexxx96Reloaded I shoot 5 exp for each frame and make the HDR file in post production on my computer

  • @sqbbe how would you make the hdrs? you didnt do individual did you? that would take forever

  • @zizilev Check out my totorial in the description

  • Is this true HDRi or did you simply use a single RAW file for each frame? If it's true, then I'd assume you used AEB. What camera were you using?

  • @KatakiUchiha This is true HDR. 5 shots every 3-10 sek depending on the sequence.

    I used Nikon D300.

  • Lovely. Just lovely. Very well done.

I've been experimenting with HDR - you've just inspired me to start experimenting ith time-lapse HDR ;-)

  • Beautiful clip, i want to do something similar so i have a few questions about what settings you might have used here: 0:00 - 0:12, 0:12 - 0:20 and 0:37 - 0:52. Particulary interested in the first one. Probably 3 shots, but did you use the setting the camera suggested and +/- 2 Stops? Thanks

  • @th3lurker Nvm sqbbe, if you did the same as in your explanation video.

  • @th3lurker All these sequences are 5 shots (+/- 2) with usually 5 sek interval.

  • how did you get the colours to be so vibrant!?

  • @Anwarboy786 It`s a combination of making HDR in Photomatix and adding some vibrance in Lightroom

  • nice, clouds are awesome

  • Soo amazing..It kinda felt like a 3d, with all that color depth

  • wow

  • Very cool!

  • Very cool. Do you use a calculator program to space the shots evenly? Also, which program would you recommend for compiling the HDRs into a video?

  • Hi, i'm not the creator of this video but i do know a way to do it. Basically this a BUNCH of hdr pictures put togethor to make a video. My guess is that he use a program such a adobe photoshop or photomatrix to compile the hdr shots. and the used a program such as sony vegas or iMovie to make the video.

    I hope this helped

  • @ARODNMC

I would recommend HDR Photostudio to compile and edit the HDR photos. Dont know about software to make a movie out of it though.

  • wow the clouds in the few end shots looked awesome

  • sooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!

  • im breathless, speachless

  • Excellent work!

  • Wonderful and beautiful!

  • wow. i've never actually seen youtube play in videos in 720p HD. its amazing. great video.

  • how did u made it look like easy?

  • OH WOW you gotta know I like this, great job fantastic effects! NICE !! Great track for this. Wow I gotta say wow!

  • love the colours!

  • dude, thank you so much for the reply... i will be getting the d300s soon.. hopefully i will make you proud one day! :)

  • i would be very interested to know what your interval info is of these clips.. 1 frame every 10 seconds?

I'd very much appreciate a reply.. greetings from the Netherlands!

  • I used different intervals, but this sequences are shot with intervals ranging from 3 sek to 7 sek. I seldom go with interval above 10 sek because the clouds are often moving quite fast and low in my area.

  • how long did it take you to put 7500+ photos together to make this.

  • I think it was about 10-12 hours

  • What camera did you use to do these? I had a D90 and I really want to make a time lapse vid.. I'm not sure the d90 allows the different intervals though... It's all really difficult to learn especially making an HDR Image let alone doing an HDR Time lapse...

  • make sure your camera (for HDR) has AEB(Auto-exposure bracketing)

then you can make multiple exposures of one shot (ex. -1EV / ±0EV / +1EV)

also you would need a remote(with timer) for your camera or a laptop with remote software (breezesys or something like)

  • That's stupid.

You will have 3 different exposures with varying motion unless you shoot extremely fast. So let's say you shoot at 0.5 seconds to have some motion going on, you need 3 pictures, that's 1.5 seconds, and make the 2 because of the mirror delay and whatnot.

So 2 seconds = 1 frame, that gives you about 2 frames per minute.

Well, I guess it's ok, but you will have problems with night shots, special situations etc...

It would be fine if they are shot in RAW though...

  • not necessarily

if i understand correctly you think that if you shoot for example a HDR with 3exposures and 10sec interval than that will be 1shot at 3sec, one at 6sec and one at 9sec.

BUT if you add long-bulb for 1sec. then the camera thinks you are holding and shooting in bursts.

and your end result will be:

burst(3frames) followed by countdown for 10sec... burst followed by countdown(10sec.)... and so on.

  • You don't get what I mean...

That gap will make the time lapse stutter...

At least that's what I think.

I'm uploading a video where I used a 2.5s shutter and for some odd reason it's not fluid at all, I might of done something wrong, even though the time lapse I shot 30 minutes before that is fluid.

  • ok.but i dont see how this could be caused by the HDR,

off course you have to adjust the interval and bulb to get the same gap.

example: normal 1 shot every 10sec.

    then 3shot HDR=

    3shots in 1sec. followed by 9sec gap.

ow. a very stupid question, did you merge the exposures together into a HDR?

  • THE GAP IS THE PROBLEM.

I don't care how many shots and when, it's the 9 second gap that's making me mad LOL

Stop Motion is what the results will be...

Use an ND Filter and lengthen the exposures.

  • @beatsiz All my TL are shot with 8 fps. Motion is rearly any problem

  • @sqbbe Thank you very much, it's all clear now :]

But I don't understand how your D300 shoots at 8FPS...

  • @beatsiz The D300 can snap of frames at 6 fps without the battery grip. With the battery grip the framerate is increased to 8 fps.

  • @sqbbe Nice! I never knew that!

What were the exposure times? Did you batch edit in Photoshop or did you use Photomatix?

  • @beatsiz I usually shoot in aperture mode and let the camera choose the shutterspeed. I often tend to go for f/6 or 7. I batch edit all files in photomatix

  • @sqbbe: I don't get how you bracket though... How can you get the camera to shoot @ 8FPS with bracketing every 7 second or so?

  • @beatsiz You program the BKT function to AEB 5 shots at 1EV increments, and then program the interval timer to shoot 5 shots every 7 second.

  • @sqbbe Oooh, nevermind... I forgot that Nikons do this internally! I use a Phottix Nikos Remote on my 7D :]

Do you shoot RAW + FULL JPEG or simply small JPEG?

  • @beatsiz I use the higest rezolution possible to fit to the number of shots that I`m going to shoot. If I`m shooting less then 1K I shoot in RAW, but quite often I go on a 2,5K trip and then I use JPEG.

  • @sqbbe Are you planning on selling these as stock?

  • Where can i get the soundtrack for this video?

  • this is surreal!

    good job, dude.

  • blasphemy.

if you think the world looks like this, there's something wrong with you.

  • dude...that amazing work.....keep it up

what is the name of the music??? i like it

  • @hamoudi150383 i have been trying to find it for months! if you find out, please let me know!!

  • Great!

  • speechlessssssssssssssss............

  • 7554 frames? Amazed ...... Final effect is perfect!

  • Det bästa jag sett helt underbart fotograferat, heja Norge !

  • How did you control the zoom in the last sequence ?

  • Excellent !

  • wow, just beautiful, great work

  • what off music is this?

  • Fantastic!.. just brilliant..

p.s you have to much time though! :)

  • BE-A-U-TI-FULL
