Surströmming är inte rutten fisk, utan syrad/jäst under kontrollerade former. Surkål tillverkas på liknande sätt.

It's not rotten. It's fermented, like sauerkraut is. Controlled fermentation. :-)

Its good if you serve it the right way, but i dont see how this is a "delicacy among swedish people", yes its an old recipe that stayed with us for many years, but many of us barely eats it
