around 1000bc in Britain alot of communities didnt have fire or sometimes the leader was the one who had the secret of fire and wouldnt tell anyone else. interesting areas these
I would like to point out (involved with metal work myself) that pure titanium has a lower rockwell (C) than high carbon steels and therefore titanium actually has worse scratch resistance thus maintains less edge retention. Titanium alloys that get higher than 70+ usually come in the form of a coating (the glock pistol has a coated top that can sharpen knives) but doesn't come in the large enough pieces for plows and would probably be too brittle.
Beryllium can come in a couple forms such as gemstones like emerald... and steel just doesn't get that hard. One way or another, it is still brittle... by the way, even the best knife steel (something like zdp-189) when run through the dirt will contact something harder than itself such as quartz granuals.
Keep going Mr. C, I love the capistalism series and have learned alot.
Half a cone, some lobster and some very well cooked beef liver two hours before sleep. Biological electron transportation is important, eat high concentrations of copper - which ought to help compensate for your lack of brain cells.
Man, I wish my materials science class this past fall had been taught historically....it would've been fascinating.

"titanium actually has worse scratch resistance thus maintains less edge retention."
Very interesting. I was clueless.
What about beryllium plow shares?

I have to say, that one made me smile.

You're talking about a time in which everyone was familiar with stones. :-)
These days, everyone is familiar with stoners. :-(

You'd rather work with rocks than smoke some weed? Ok.
