Dead right Moyesy - obviously been a little bit of a bust up but as the old idiom goes "less said soonest mended". Best team spirit in the country which money can't buy and no press busybodies will be allowed to drive a wedge into that.

Press should concentrate on the real issues in football anyways, eg the fairer distribution of its wealth rather than standing by and watching the rich get richer. But then again the Mirror shed off any socialist principals years ago.

Unfortunately, when you're presented with an idiot member of the press thinking the guidelines for questioning don't apply to him, you can either sit silent o tell them where to go. Neither look good on the manager which is why they ask such nonsense; even if they can't get a scoop on Anichebe, they'll try to prompt a negative response to spin about the whole situation. That's how some members of the press earn a living. Thankfully, some of them actually like football.

Spot on DM. If you don't know the history of the pre-interview then Moyes told the interviewers one question about Anichebe. He answered everything that was asked of him then the interviewer stepped over the line, he didn't give a load of expletives like Joe Kinnear he simply made a point that if you want to get a story then I'm not going to answer any more of your questions, the guy was digging for a scandal that isn't there and he was cut off short and sharp.
