I divorced from my wife last March and we have two young kids (5 and 7). So I was afraid that when they grew up they might somehow think that I was responsible for the divorce (my wife was a shrieking banshee from hell), so I decided to tell both of them individually that the other child was responsible for the divorce because they wouldn't mind us or show us respect. Hopefully when they grow up they'll be so busy blaming the other, that they won't be able to say I had anything to do with it.
