  • SerperiorSnivy likes Mammatus Clouds.

  • Yes, Stormmoss, you have more right, this storm it looks really awesome and very spectacular.

  • @ExtremeSpinner99 And birds were chripping too. Very nice

  • Yes, really beautiful mammatus at the anvil thunderstrom cloud. I really like powerful storms like that one !

  • @ExtremeSpinner99 Yes it was an amazing sight! The best structure I have ever seen in this area!

  • I agree with you...big time...what gorgeous mammatus clouds overhead in the deep-blue skies you've videotaped...and a nice CG-you caught on the video towards the end too... BTW...living on the WEST end of the Eastern Time Zone..does offer one huge advantage of the late-setting sun on any May 30th since you said in your awesome narration of ''40 more minutes of daylight'' after you said it was 815pm... Anyways...excellent video....and even I got some nice ones too.

  • Thanks! It was quite the storm!

  • I remember that one. A very picture perfect tornado to see too :)

  • Which tornado was that?

  • WHAT A STORM WE JUST HAD RIGHT NOW!! hail in speedway.....60 mph gusts.....omg...what a storm

  • hell yes. it was amazing and yet terrible.

  • lol...why terrible?

  • What an amazing storm! Wish we had open roads like that so you could get a good vantage point to watch it. Love the structure - good video :)

  • that is what i would call one sexy Storm

  • Beyond Sexy. The body on that storm was HOT :) lol

  • This is great. Very incredible.

  • Thanks :)

  • Yep... very pronounced mammatus. I have seen them hang around even after a storm dies. The become even prettier when sun hits them just right at sunset.

  • Yeah dude it was classic! The other storms towards Indy had them too, but not this good. I learned a hard lesson and am going to be more disciplined when a slight risk is in effect instead of going that many miles just to essentially come back home and miss the main event :)

  • I undersatnd. I should have stayed home for the M'boro tornado. I was tempted by the approaching cells and went west to meet them. New cells popped to the south, I went there then, but was not able to keep up with them as they tracked toward Murfreesboro.

  • that was beautiful but like quit doing doing that brb to me lol i get scared when ur gone

  • you should have been in Indianapolis..you would have got some good stuff...

  • Yeah SPC misplaced it for the day. But, I did get one awesome looking storm though and this one did have some rotation in it, just not enough. I did get some video back in Indy as I bobtailed back to the city. Will post later

  • Okay. Cool! Yeah the storm here was pretty cool. There was a large shelf cloud over the north part of the city.

Central Indiana is under the gun Monday and Tuesday for some more severe weather.

  • Yep but it's a slight risk from Indy Northward basically. Unless there is severe weather immiment in Indy Metro, I probably won't even go out. Learned a hard lesson on this slight risk chase.

  • yea.......i was there....i was in my car driving......i cant tell you how many times i almost died........wether it be because the road suddenly dissapeared...or wether an 18 wheeler almost ran over me.....i swear...yesterday was so scary........but beautiful lightning show :)

  • Man you are blessed to be well and not injured. But I bet you dont regret that experience do you? lol...I wouldnt

  • yea..it was AWESOME!!! best storm in my life.......well no..... number 2!

  • And what was #1?

  • i must say #1 was even scarier.......i was at home...and i knew a line of storms was coming......pretty thin line though.....wasnt expecting much....but when it finally arrived.....suddenly all the warning started flying out...eventually we were under a tornado warning..and my house started to shake very violently.i later found out it was just straight line winds...but i also found out that about 2 miles from me...there had been a tornado.......idk if u remember it....it was off i-65 i think...

  • i was at "metropolis"....and the clouds were beautiful........when i was coming home...it was scary though...............good strong stoems yesterday...... more tomorrow!

  • yep very active pattern in place. Typical for this time of the year May 19-June 19 is out severe weather "Peak"

  • is it a specific reason that severe weather and tornadoes ALWAYS occurs on May 30th in indianapolis.. 2004 we had a tornado on raceday, 2008 we had one that demolished the apartments and now this year...do you have a reason for that?
