I always had questions. Why lens manufactures cannot come up with super nice lenses like Canon 100mm F/2.8L at an affordable price like $350? Maybe 1000% profit in the lens? I think people have been brain washed to the effect that quality lens is expensive.....-:)
@B4uknowme09 Thanks for your comments. I use Canon 100mm f2.8L lens for Macro Photography. You can go for Canon 100mm non-L version. That is cheap and quality is same as L lens. Or you can go for extension tubes. You can also consider Canon 500D macro filter or Raynox DCR-250
This should hopefully allay the fears of crop sensor camera owners. Even if you haven't got a full-frame camera, buy this lens. The original 100mm is great (and much cheaper) but lenses are an investment, money goes quickly but lenses will stay with you for a long time; you will massively appreciate the image stabilisation and increased quality of the optics, believe you me it makes a valid difference. If you can't afford it now then wait, it's well worth it.
Great shots. I have this lens and a 5D Mark ll and wanted a little inspiration before I go across the street to a park here in Poland. Now I have my inspiration. I have only used the lens a few times and am just getting the focus to an acceptable level. You did a nice job on these shots and I like the music also. Thanks
How do you get the 3D effect with your picture and the white background.Great pictures !

shitty macro mate. you can do much better with 100l. use its bokeh, and try to focus on whole insect, not just part of it
