the ship is definitaly a modern mavel. saying that, it is also a ship where you have to work hard NOT to pay something extra. All the specialty dining etc is all over the ship..
What's the point of a ship that try's so hard to be a city? Might as well go to Las Vegas. This has to be the ugliest ship I have ever seen, makes a bulk carrier look graceful. I like ships to look like ships, not a Howard Johnston hotel.
It's not trying to be a city. It's about choice. I think it's actually a fantastic looking ship. It's a personal opinion as to what looks good.
I think you'll find most (your actually the first person i know to not like this creation) if not everybody else agrees that this is a fantastic ship!
Can you go to Las Vegas, wake up every morning to a view of the ocean from your balcony, catch a show every night for free, stroll on the boardwalk, walk in the park, see St. Thomas US Virgin Islands, St.Maarten Netherlands Antilles, Nassau Bahamas, all in seven days and spend every night in the comfort of your hotel room with all meals included? That is why I go to Las Vegas to gamble and cruise for vacation. DORK.
good job!!! We are sailing next Miami to Rome and then 6 months later Rome to Miami on RCI but in December we will complete our 25th cruise on the OASIS and thank you for this video...well done
and most of the food is free like donuts ice cream most of the lunch places and your dining room but you have to pay for if you want speciality dining say in the asian place..
When I went on a Cruise, the extra cost restaurants were only $20 a person, maybe $30 with tip, and the food was something you only got in a $100 a plate restaurant so it was a good deal, plus there was no waiting.
Oasis, its huge and amazing, you have so much to do your always busy the shows are great from ice skating to theater to aqua shows, i went on this cruise last week around the caribbean!
You guys im going on Carnival cruise line on July execpt we haevnt bought the tickets we might buy them next week can you guys tell me if carnival is really good? Food, games, anything else?? Plz rply
Carnival was a complete let down for us last year, They cancelled our cruise at the final hour due to private booking and it took a long time to get our money back. I would go with RC if you can.
@littlestewie97 i was on a royal carribean cruise when we came along a couple on the carnival cruise and said that it is not all that great, most people agree royal caribean is the best, i hope this helps
I'm watching it since it started building...it is just soooo amazing I have no words. I hope to be on the Allure next year as it only sails the Carribean and I will not visit the States before the next year...So hope for some more videos untill then :)
Wow, I'd love to try the Oasis one day but the ship definitely doesn't look like a ship from inside. I've been Freedom of the Seas before too and it just looks like a moving city. I guess that was the concept of the ship. Once the prices come down a bit, I'd like to try this ship once just to experience it. :)
This seems to be the videoed cruise ship in history! Even with all the videos you still can't get a handle of the size of this ship, its emense. BTW there is an automated fortune teller on the Boardwalk.
Not Included is your: Air transportation; transfers; items of a personal nature, such as shore & land excursions, specialty restaurant fees, some beverages, photographs, gratuities/service fees, medical services, etc. A real shock for me on my first cruise was the gratuities. If you use the guidelines the cruise lines suggest a 7 day cruise is over $100 for gratuities for the length of your cruise per person. The service is worth it but when you don't budget for it what a shock.
I was very excited about this ship, but the more I see it, the more I don't think I'd like it. Why in the world would anyone want a balcony overlooking what looks like a shopping mall? For people that just want to enjoy the serenity of the ocean off their balcony, good food, a nice pool area and entertainment at night, why pay so much more for this ship? I think I may pass. The Carnival Dream is looking real good to me.
@kk456128 A few specialty restaurants may charge 10 dollars per meal and of course, the stores charge for merchandise but for the most part it's all included.
it looks like a shopping center

If you really would do anything to go on the ship it's not that hard - just save up $800 and you have enough for a 7 day cruise on it.
