I really do enjoy tool's music, and to maynard i'd say for giving the world beautiful art that we can all share, but despite that he still needs to understand and maybe at least ACT like he appreciates everything dumbasses like us have given him. Yes he's insanely talented and deserves everything tool has created. Just relize without all those people who have indirectly impacted his life, he would not be living the life that im sure most people would kill for.

It's pretty simple, Maynard's not a huge interview type of guy. These guys aren't the best interviewers, but he's not really giving them any good replies or anything. He just doesn't really give a shit. Maynayrd's private and doesn't really give much of himself up, most of what he talks about is his damn wine (in part 2). and most people want to hear about the music.

@JHall1294 Well, If Maynard is a private type of person, then he shouldn't be doing big concerts, he can't have it both ways. While I really like tool, there is one thing that bugs the shit out of me with people that become really popular, they say stuff like "I want to be left alone" or something similar, I usually say after hearing that bs "cut the bullshit" seriously, it gets old and there are more and more people doing that type of thing now even with celebrities.

Maynard gave a pretty good effort to feign interest and not be an asshole. If they had interviewed him ten years earlier, he would have hung up the phone when they asked what his favorite show was, if not sooner. He definitely dreads interviews, they always ask such shitty questions.

Within the millions of DJs across America, there are a handful that are worth listening to.

While i think it's fine for artists to be mysterious and dance around questions, i think maynard can be rude.
