I saw these guys open for Incubus like 8 years ago. Waiting in line at the Portland Theater, saw a dude with an old GI Joe shirt. Stopped him, and complimented on the shirt. Left with me saying "Maybe catch ya inside.", to which he replied "Yeah, maybe."

Turned out it was the drummer.

Awesome show. Lead singer crowd surfed while singing, and didn't miss a bit.

Jason Stewart replaced Dave Rankin on drums in 6gig. It was not Dave's brother who also is a musician. I believe this happened just before Dave died. Dave was a real cool guy. I got to jam with him a few times way before he played with 6gig. Ironically enough, we were trying to get him to replace Jason Stewart who has just left our band Positive Fuzz. Maine has a quite a musical family tree.

Yes one of them died, I don't know if it was suicide or not but their original drummer died. But his brother took over and they continued playing for a couple of years. They split up in 2005 simply because they felt they did what they could with the band and wanted to move on to new things. Anybody from Maine will instantly recognize the video was shot there from the snowy field segments lol. Maine isn't exactly New York City when it comes to quality media production.
