My return to innocence was being a naive happy kid. Then life turned me upside down and events made me hardened and jaded. Then after some internal examinations I got into Buddhism and the world suddenly wasn't such a dangerous or bad place anymore. I became kind of innocent and happy again when I never thought I could come out of that dark place. So corny I know!

@SirCloudStrife I'm 23 mate, I have felt that way for the last 3 years too. Listen to some Alan Watts to calm your mind. Once your eyes are opened to reality it becomes even harder to deal with, you're going to see people throw themselves into trivial and pointless persuits which lead to self frustration, you have to let them though (don't be mad at them, you need them to define yourself). The truly heartbreaking part is, they wont thank you for helping them 'wake up' they'll hate you for it.
