  • Whats the name of the song that the guy sings at 7:28? is it called every now amd then?

  • Just guessing, but the song title might be, "Every Now and Then". Brings back memories of Donald Vails at Ebenezer AME Church in Ft. Washington, MD. When he passed, his Homegoing service was similar - the choir sang while people came in for the viewing.

  • Man i love these Hymns

  • Rev. James Cleveland would have been so pleased with such a service. Everyone did so well. Rest in peace O'man of God:

  • Thank You. Good to know he is still around. Palyed and sang with him every Sunday from 97-2000. The clip does no justice; absolutely one of the greatest voices in Gospel...one of my personal all time favorites. Remember that song, "I want to be ready when you come?" He great.;-)

  • James presented our first album.

"James Cleveland Presents Helen Stephens And The Voices Of Christ.'

He is truly missed. I know that he has a workshop in Heaven

  • Go head Angela Spivey she's another powerhouse I love her singing and ministering.

Mildred Clark and the melodyaires recorded this song too.She had a big hit with my job is working for Jesus.

  • THIS is how a Christian's funeral should be - a celebration and tribute to a life lived for Jesus!

  • I agree. It really should be an inspiring celebration. Make the sinners jelous! This is why we live Holy, so that one day we can receive the reward of Heaven. I want my funeral to be a Holy Ghost party. Have the sinners running to the alter saying, "I want to be saved too!"
