I would rate this as the most influencing track of all modern music and a changing of pace for bands like Cream & Pink Floyd to name but a few. I first heard this piece when I was 15 in a music class at school in the mid 70's. My teacher was a forward thinking kinda guy and we had in the music department a Synthesizer. It still amazes me to think that all sound is created from just one noise...White Noise, then tweek and play with it to create different frequences and tones.
@MrShaneBoyer It's not a big deal, but I have to point out that not all sound is created from white noise. Analog synths rely primarily on oscillators, which produce periodic waveforms--the opposite of white noise, which is non-periodic. While a classic (1970) Minimoog has only three, a modular (1968) Moog synth (think K.Emerson or W.Carlos) might have nine or more oscillators. TONTO contains parts from three or more modular Moog synths, as well as a couple of Arps and some other devices...

I was on something the last time I heard this. Now I'm a lot older I need to be on something to keep me going. I still enjoy the music though.
