Don't let the setting fool you. There was plenty of people outside the "dancing stage" area in front of the stage the band was actually playing on (just check out some other vieos from Tuntuma festivals). Anyway, Reverend Bizarre didn't really attract so huge crowds back then.

And that "plastic bag on a stick" was a contraption to keep the beers in the bag cold by placing them in the lake right on the edge of the festival area.

once played with a black death punk band and we ended up doing a show at a Blues hall basically. After 4 songs, there were our friends, 2 bikers, a bartender and the waitstaff. I actually ordered nachos from the stage- and ate them up there. LOL-it was actually great fun. Getting spit on and having used maxi pads tossed on us while playing at The Rat in Boston was another great gig. The best gigs are always the worst...I always loved then ...
