  • I don't understand, how come you say that injectable estrogen have to be compounded here.I remember when I started taking testosterone (Delatestryl), the people behind the counter made a mistake and gave me injectable estrogen instead (the brand was still delatestryl, but it was estrogen),believe me I was so pissed at them for making that mistake because, sometimes, I would inject without looking at the label on the vial.I magine if I hadn't looked that time.

  • It's usually cheaper to get it compounded than to get a prepared solution. I have also been unable to legally obtain prepared solutions here.

  • How come you can't get this legally if you have a prescription for estrogen?

  • Because the brand name product has to be available for you to get it...

  • I understand it has to be available, but that's weird there's nothing here as far as injectable estrogen goes. The delatestryl brand for estrogen is no longer available? Or maybe you need another type of estrogen. I don't know that much about male-to-female transsexuals and what they take.

  • Quick question:

    Where were you born?

    I love your accent!

Oh and I think it's cool how I'm not gay, but YOU turn me on...

  • Montreal.

  • I don`t get it...ur a boy or girl???

  • I did not say being a woman meant having a "new vagina" -- I was referring your answers to the last question on this video. You said that changing the concept of the society about gender is NOT your goal, rather you would want the society to treat you as woman, Here lies my question: it seems that your primary concern is that people treat you more favorably, as F. But if you do have a "female" brain, then you would have the urgency to become woman, regardless how others would treat you.

  • I think that every transsexual would rather be treated as female by society.

  • just a comment on the last question: it seems to me that you are more concerned about how society would treat you(as female) rather than the urgency that you have to be a women(if you have a female brain), which is independent from how others would treat you, be it positive of negative.

  • I don't think that being a woman means having a "neu-vagina".

  • You are so smart and nice thanks for caring, You pass very well not easy that I know but we are our own greatest critic

  • when do you plan on going fulltime? or are you planning on getting ffs or srs first?

  • your so cute :)

  • if you get a "B" how will that make you feel?

  • B.... UNACCEPTABLE. I'll get an A ;)

  • I'm a little ignorate on this subject what's a "B" and "A'' ? Just wondering

  • School grades.

  • Boy i feel like a ditz

  • omg girl you are sooooo cute!!!!

  • Aw... you shouldn't have thrown your old coat away! You should have donated it to a thrift store! It could have brought joy to another person's life! lol j/k

I just got a girl winter coat. I was wearing a US Army issues fleece before I got it! :p

It's good to see that you're doing well!

  • I usually give old stuff to the salvation army, but this coat was in a bad condition.

  • Congratulations with your success at university! You have a good life ahead of you. Keep smiling!

  • its a little difficult to have concern for the disadvantages of something (in this case socially "constructed" gender roles) when you're focused so intently on the advantages IMO. I like how you emphasized the pragmatic reality of accepting these constructs rather than trying to change society. There is also the issue of personal intent in the case where the individual happens to consciously as well as instinctively prefer acting in a manner that might be called "typical".Thnx for your videos :)

  • i always love to hear what u have to say ur so smart

  • Simply excellent. I was thinking about the last topic and how this has little to do with social gender stereo types. You kinda did point that way by distinguishing between biological differences vs social gender differences.

I was thinking, if you constructed a "test lab society" in which gender and sexuality were fluid, no discrimination against GLBT, cross dressing was acceptable... I would think it would make life a little easier perhaps, but not solve the problem or the need to transition.

  • I liked your vid today, also was raised cath with all that goes along with it ... I do not beleive in the authority of it, and also pray to a higher power, my religion is more or less treating others with the same respect and carrying as I would like to be treated by others. I do my best.. anyway, thanks again for your videos, I truly and sincerely appreciate you openess and the information you provide to us based on your own life experiences. Peace to you!

  • Oh, and, of course, if anyone else wants to argue with me publicly, that's fine.

  • I want to address the last question. You didn't mention that many transsexuals have discomfort with their own bodies and want to transition to get the "right" body, not just achieve a different social status. Also, as a genetic woman, I resent your dismissal of the disadvantages of socially constrained gender roles. Being treated like a woman is not a positive thing for many genetic women who nonetheless do not experience dysphoria. I won't spam your comments. We can argue about this privately.

  • I believe both have advantages and inconvenients. I didn't really consider that point at all in my arguments. I only wanted to say that being transsexual is an issue that is separate from "the politics of gender". Physical sex and gender identity exist, no matter how society constructed gender roles.

  • Great video..lots of info..but heres a question for you..how did you get a 34 minute video to load...wow

  • I just bought my first feminine looking coat today too.

  • congrats :D

  • thank you:)
