@XOallmychildrenXO You can interpret it how you want, of course, but I've always thought this song was at least in some part a reflection of society. To me, the line is about our obsession with beauty and how, if we don't feel beautiful, we take anti-depression medication to make us feel that way. This is a love song: The singer is saying "I love you" but you're a part of this "big machine" (life, society, Western culture) and so you don't--you can't--even notice it.

there's some mistakes still

in the chorus the first one is "I'm liyn' there waitin' for you" and the second is "I'm blind and waitn' for you"

then it isn't "little lika a house on fire" is "livin' like a hous on fire

It isn't your all or naught" it is "you're all a lie"

and finally it isn't "I don't need what you ain't got" it is "I won't leave what you ain't got"

some of the lyrics are incorrect.

It's supposed to be "Now this angry little girl drowning in this petty world and I'm who you run to" and "You're all or not" not "You're all alive" and it's not "My heart is realign" it's "My heart is reeling"
