But just today at Oct 25th @ 5:35pm I got my call that I was all approved and everything was worked out and they want me to go for my pre-op this Friday the 29th.... YAY!!! I'm sooo excited, anxious, happy... jeez I started to dance like snoopy when I hung up the call.
Well lets see what the future brings me im 26 5'9" 365lbs.
You were gorgeous before and after. I'm one month out and getting my first fill in 3 days. I started getting discouraged because I've been stuck at a 16 pound weight loss, but hoping that the fill will help get things going a bit faster. It's truly inspiring to see that you've lost over 100lbs in 6 months. I hope I can do that awesome as well.

I had the Realize band procedure on may 12th. I thought that the moment would never become a reality, and now about 8 weeks post-op I have only lost 8lbs. I feel like I am not loosing fast enough! Your pre pictures of you are so pretty but after it's like your body matched your face all together apperance. Congratualtions. Any words of advice?
This made me want to cry. For one, the song is AWESOME, but you look so wonderful. You were beautiful BEFORE the surgery and beautiful afterwards. You give me hope that I can have small arms without a bunch of skin hanging everywhere. I didn't have the surgery, but I've lost 60 and have 30 (or more) to go.

i haven't started the long process yet. i go for my diet specialist on Dec 2nd then after that i'll have 8 long months to go. My insurance requires 9 months of diet and education. could u please tell me some thing that i can expect. Im 249 right now and have a really bad thyroid..don't know if that will affect anything yet. Try Sugar Free Carnation Milk in the bottle. You get it at Pathmark or Shop Rite. It dosn't have as much protein as the others but it definately taste better.

Omg watching this video brought tears to my eyes and u made realize that I can do this to even though it might be difficult but thats where the determination kicks in. Please write me bk and help me go through my journey... I have so many questions for u and I dont wont to bother u with my fears but Im just so excited....Im waiting on a date and I hope to have it by the 1st of the new year for a new me right... if it happens sooner than that its cool too.
My was was set to be 160 pds which I have completed already. The lapband is reversable and if you ever want it to come off, u can do so. However, I choose to live with my band for as long as I live. As for getting it retightened for the rest of my life, I would answer that as long as I have the restriction I need, I dont have to go back for an adjustment. If I lose any restriction, I'll just go back to my doctor and ask them for an adjustment. Thanks for watching!

That would be so awesome Nothing has changed with the relationship with my husband as far as my body changes go. We will remain the same. Maybe its because he dosn't show much of his emotions. I know I feel sexier and can definately spice up my clothes to go to bed now. LOL
WOW, 1 year post-op in Jan 2010, the year is just flying by, my op will be here before I know it. On 9 Oct 09 I will have my last appointment before surgery to advise me of my exact surgery date..... I know what U mean about husbands not showing much emotions... mine is a bit like that.... be interesting to see if my hubby changes attitude when I have lost a significant noticeable amount of weight. You are a beautiful woman both inwardly and outward and that is a rarity. I am from Australia and I will be having my Lapband in January 2010 (on a waiting list plus Private Health Insurance to mature at the same time). So, in the meantime I am reading, watching, learning, preparing for the day.

Hey girl..I've been thinking about this Lap Band surgery for a few weeks now and have decided to get it done...I'm not that big (big enough not to fit on a rollercoaster-very embarassing) but the way you look now is exactly the size I want to be. You're very lucky not to have the sagging skin. I am young-23 so I'm praying that I wont have to go in for a tummy tuck after all the excess weight is lost. Congrats on the weight loss, you are gorgeous and my new inspiration. :)

That's great !!!! I'm still trying to convince my girlfriend that this is the right tool for me to help me with my weightloss as well. I explained to her that the benefits out weigh the risk. I have severe sleep apnea and hypertension which requires me to take three medications. WTF !!!! She still calls it unnecesary surgery.....

@queenly1able it's permanent. Which is how people with the lap band maintain their weight after it's lost. It's wonderful.

This made me want to cry. For one, the song is AWESOME, but you look so wonderful. You were beautiful BEFORE the surgery and beautiful afterwards. You give me hope that I can have small arms without a bunch of skin hanging everywhere. I didn't have the surgery, but I've lost 60 and have 30 (or more) to go.
I am going to "favorite" your video so others will see it too. Awesome!

i haven't started the long process yet. i go for my diet specialist on Dec 2nd then after that i'll have 8 long months to go. My insurance requires 9 months of diet and education. could u please tell me some thing that i can expect. Im 249 right now and have a really bad thyroid..don't know if that will affect anything yet. I've watched all ur video and luv them. What is the name of this song,it's nice.

I am set to have my surgery Dec. 17th. I am starting to feel like I am getting cold feet. But every time I feel like that I always watch your videos. Hey Mel, its Rebecca..... so I'm gearing up towards the surgery and I am trying out ISOPURE, the zero carb protein mix. "YUCK!" I tried the Alpine flavor and it's NASTY..... What did you use for your pre-op and post-op... can you send me a message? Thank you

Try Sugar Free Carnation Milk in the bottle. You get it at Pathmark or Shop Rite. It dosn't have as much protein as the others but it definately taste better.

Omg watching this video brought tears to my eyes and u made realize that I can do this to even though it might be difficult but thats where the determination kicks in. Please write me bk and help me go through my journey... My was was set to be 160 pds which I have completed already. The lapband is reversable and if you ever want it to come off, u can do so. However, I choose to live with my band for as long as I live. As for getting it retightened for the rest of my life, I would answer that as long as I have the restriction I need, I dont have to go back for an adjustment. If I lose any restriction, I'll just go back to my doctor and ask them for an adjustment. Thanks for watching!

You look GREAT!! You give me inspiration. I just had lap band surgery one week ago (7/27/09). My starting weight is 246 and my goal is 125. I am only 5 foot tall. I have 4 kids that need me and I plad to be around a long time. My Husband is supportive and my kids all think it's great. I can't wait to start seeing results. You should be amazed at yourself you look WONDERFUL and you give me confidence in what I am in this for! Thanks so much!

How has this body change affected your marriage or your husbands views towards u? That would be so awesome Nothing has changed with the relationship with my husband as far as my body changes go. We will remain the same. Maybe its because he dosn't show much of his emotions. WOW, 1 year post-op in Jan 2010, the year is just flying by, my op will be here before I know it. On 9 Oct 09 I will have my last appointment before surgery to advise me of my exact surgery date..... I know what U mean about husbands not showing much emotions... mine is a bit like that.... be interesting to see if my hubby changes attitude when I have lost a significant noticeable amount of weight. LOL...I can't wait for the day that I actually can say "I feel sexy".... I will love that moment

Hi Skymoon, I'm limited to 500 characters here, so I do in 2 parts. PT 1 - I have spent the last few hours watching all you videos in order to now and I must say, WOW, very awesome and inspirational. You are a beautiful woman both inwardly and outward and that is a rarity. I am from Australia and I will be having my Lapband in January 2010 (on a waiting list plus Private Health Insurance to mature at the same time). I am scheduled to have lap band surgery in October of this year..09. Was it hard to get used to the lap band diet? I know that you have to eat liquids, then soft food, then shredded food, etc. Also, when you had an urge to binge, what was it like? Please let me know...thanks...Delia

Hey girl..I've been thinking about this Lap Band surgery for a few weeks now and have decided to get it done...I'm not that big (big enough not to fit on a rollercoaster-very embarassing) but the way you look now is exactly the size I want to be. You're very lucky not to have the sagging skin. I am young-23 so I'm praying that I wont have to go in for a tummy tuck after all the excess weight is lost. Congrats on the weight loss, you are gorgeous and my new inspiration. :)

That's great !!!! I'm still trying to convince my girlfriend that this is the right tool for me to help me with my weightloss as well. I explained to her that the benefits out weigh the risk. I have severe sleep apnea and hypertension which requires me to take three medications. WTF !!!! She still calls it unnecesary surgery.....

I'm so happy for you, im getting my lap band surgery in about 5 mos and right now im learning all i can before i do it. alot of people told me that it didnt work but i believe anything is possible and especially since i have seen your vids you have trully Inspired me to go through with it:) in the mean time i am working out and alot of people think that you can just get the surgey and the weights gonna fall off but it takes alot of exercise and determination to reach your goals...congrats!!:)
