lol no the stud is not suggested AT ALL when you first get it pierced. Do you know how huge your lip gets after it's pierced? Ya want an ingrown stud? Well then thats why they give you the oversized ring that can be adjusted, I KNOW this i have my lip done.

Oh and also, it only hurts if you're a major ass pussy. The next morning is an extremely different story though!!! so keep this ALL in mind before getting it done...

getting a stud done first .. i think. because they pierce it with rubber tubing [like IV] the first time because the piercing will swell for a day or two and the ruber is more comfortable.

the piercing process took very litle time, it was the "preping" that the vid is mostly of. the guy had to clean my lip. cut a nessasary amount of tubing. then find the center of my lip. then peirce it and put a back on [which is very tricky]. i had it done at Straight to the Point in troutdale, it was expinsive [$70] but they are extremely clean.

lip piercings dont hurt, i have four piercings on my bottom lip, i cant feel the needle go through my lip, but that might be because my body has got used to it, my monroe hurt, but i have it pierced three times, and for the piercers ears, i have mine stretched to 8mm, at the moment, but in about a week or two i am stretching them to 9-10mm. but i have to wait until my left ear heals.

I did snake bites a couple of days ago and it was no big deal. They sprayed my bottom lip and it was numb. So the only thing I felt was like a pinch, like bitting your lip. And you feel this for about 1 sec.

It`s not that scary. I knew the person that pierced my lip. We chatted for some time and I relaxed. He told me what he was going to do, the whole procedure and said "Relax! It`s nothing! I`m fast and you wont feel a thing!". And he was so true. When I felt the pinch the needle was already through and he was putting the ring. He finished in just a minute, maybe less, and after that I was feeling just fine! I even smiled because I felt so stupid! I was scared for what? Nothing!

The clamp was the 'plier-like' thing that he was holding to pinch her bottom lip. It makes it easier so that the needle can go through.

Ears (fleshy parts, not cartillage) are the only places that should be pierced with a gun. Everything else should be done with a needle, including nose. And no, lip doesn't hurt.
