I'm a Utah liberal. The Hatch-Kennedy friendship was real and fruitful. If more lawmakers, from city council members to Congress, could forge such relationships, imagine what we could do. Teddy Kennedy was flawed, loving, hard-working, and productive. He survived personal hell -- both from his own doing and from things out of his control -- that would have crushed most of us. He was resilient, he persevered and he redeemed himself. Rest well, Teddy.

I often disagree with his politics, but he seems to have the capacity for an open heart. This tribute was wonderful, and his "regard and reverence" was beautifully expressed for his dear friend.
