i 1st stumbled upon pilot speed on a random persons myspace, 'Alright' was playing on the player', i was fixed, checked out their own myspace, fell in love with Tod's emotional vocals/ lyrical songs!...bought Into the west, they were releasing at the time. Then played a video 'Melt Into These Walls' + on the strength of that one track, i went backwards + bought their previous album 'Caught By The Window'. I wasnt dissapointed, my fave. Now have Wooden Bones :D Would love to see them live!!

Heya... They changed their name when they started to get publicity in the states to Pilot Speed... I do find this version MUCH nicer than the version later released under their new name... Just search for Pilot Speed you'll find a bunch of tunes.

Probably from the EP, before they polished the song up for the full album. I agree there are some parts of this I like better than the full one, like the intro (I don't think the piano was needed at all), although personally I think the album version is a bit better overall.
