  • Appearing on the clip is bad but i guess it depends how log this clip will last in history. About EV it not about the shell that counts. What's important is the "core".

  • seabring vanguard/ citicar was made 1974 to 1978 and then went undaer another man bought the company and made some cars till about 1980 I think. The man that started the company was Bob Beaumont. You can look under Citicar for more info or find a book called The Lost Cord.

  • reminds me of the johnnycab in Total Recall,or something from Thunderbirds.

    way cool.

    Ferdinand Porsche made electric vehicles

the "Lohner-Porsche" that had 2 electric motors in the front wheel hubs-and ran off batteries, and the "Mixt" which also had hub motors but the batteries were replaced by a generator being turned by a small petrol engine.

    this was around 1905

i believe there was also a VW made in secret by porsche and the nazis, that had a magnet motor that ran off a small battery.

  • It looks like a Kewet

  • If you still want to make your EV try going to a Mail office Auction and get a mail truck with a bad engine, they are very lightweight and they have a lot of space. that little car is a NEV so you cant drive it in a +35mph zone. a mail truck can go to higher speed rated streets.

    good luck

  • what is an exshaust pipe doing on an ev?

  • we were all wondering that when we were looking at it lol. its probably a tube for keeping the engine cool or a vent for the battery box?? not sure lol

  • Great video...thanks for sharing

    :)

  • Nice piece of EV history.

He collected 36 of these, unbelievable.

If you want to build an EV why not buy a kit car, at least you wont have to get rid of all the infernal combustion engine parts.

  • yes there's a guy that converted his old porche (not a joke) as EV. I'll look for it

  • How old is the Porche ?

    I've seen a few 911's, 924's, 356 and even a 959 sweet!

  • not sure but I think early 80's. I was impressed by the sound. Why they have canceled the link? I'm trying to help

  • Don't dispair I'm sure you'll find another one. Contact some other car collector ......
