LOL... I heard the 'keet in the background the whole time. I'd say it sounds like my house but you don't have an Amazon SCREAMING in the background! What do you guys think is louder: an Amazon or a B&G Macaw?
I've been told not to yell at them when they squawk and scream. They scream, you scream back, and the bird counts that as attention. So then they scream to get attention. Or it just turns into a screaming match.
@12fourlife they want attention from ANYBODY. And EVERYBODY!!! : l It's quite anoying but the bes way is to walk out the room without saying anything or ignore it so it knows that is not the best way to get attention from people. : ) do u have a bird????
@lolchae I know! I agree! That is a VERY special parrot to have. Most parrots DO NOT have manners and CANNOT stay still for 20 seconds! Even when they SLEEP!!! Or... amybe not.
BUT IT'S STILL RARE TO GET A BIRD THAT HAS MANNERS AND IS A NON-SQUAKER!!!!!!!!
I have a parakeet. She doesn't do anything but scream. xD Especially when I listen to music. Your bird is LOVELY. And I can tell you have some sort of parakeet.. The little squeaking in the background.
@parrot201 yeah lol when i went to the pet store i saw a BG called Byron, He was a SQUAKER!!! He was (in a funny way) weirdly agressive every time you said something he would turn right around and squak in your face!
Oh my lord, he is adorable! I am quite worried about his beak though, it seems abnormally long which can be a sure sign of internal health problems. Anywho, loved the video. Thanks for posting it, it made me smile.
It's amazing what you can accomplish with just bird seeds :)

Are you positive this isn't a Catalina? Catalinas and B&Gs are my favorites. (Aside from hyacinths of course) =0

Yes I am positive. Catalinas have more green than BGs along with a red cere. BGS have blue back and tail with a green forehead.

lol I always hear about the screaming problems but my BG never had one. Every parrot has a different problem.
