They thin that its kids like us sharing music and introducing others to great artists for free that is killing the industry. man, they couldnt be more wrong. Pretty much every artist both major and independant want as much of thier music to be heard as possible and love the idea of kids downloading and sharing music files on the internet. The labels are bringing themselves down by fighting the storm instead of riding the waves...

Its shortsightedness like this that is killing the music industry. If it werent for youtube, and the "pirate" videos that are on here, I would never have been introduced to Tom Petty in the first place! Exposure such as this is DRIVING the industry, not hurting it! Foolish, foolish people.
