well i thought it was fantastic amy and personally thought it very harsh to niggle at 'signal peaks' its not hurting on the ears its very very easy on the ears and you really have a voice of a angel, excellent choice of chords particular the Em bridge switch, it really brought the song into its own.

Aw thank you! I like the Em switch... which I guess is a little different from that sort of F#min6 sound to Dsus sound too... you've made me see the song in a new light.... Like when it gets to the Em... it melodically feels as though the slight dissonance in the verse is settled.

Good stuff... I'd love to see you redo it with a little better sound (I think the gain was up a tad far, and the signal seemed to clip a bit in a few of the 'so please' spots...) (sigh.. once a sound man... ) If your voice was not so nice I'd just shine the rough spots in the sound.. but really with your talent you are shortchanging yourself not to 'do it right'

but even so, great stuff, enjoyed it much.

Thanks for your thoughts... my boyfriend is an audio engineer and he usually does the sound and stuff for me. I just thought I'd just pop this one out. It's interesting, I've had some people who like the rawness of this performance and some who complain I am "too polished" and therefore unappealing... and then like yourself people who like it polished. But I agree with you. ;)
