If you had known him for as long as I have, and seen him grow in his maturity level and seen the way he acts both on and off the court, you would know that he is very grateful for the opportunity he has, and that his head is in the right place.
@scssux BS calls? Sam likes to drive to the basket. When someone drives to the basket, there is almost always going to be contact, and the majority of the time there will be a foul called. Sam drives to the lane a lot, and therefore he goes to the free throw line a lot. It's not that hard to understand. And don't say he gets every call because that is just not true.

this guy is a JUNIOR... and he avg's over 30 a game... that's not consistent... just wait til he gits bigger, stronger, faster (for a whole 'nother high school season AND a summer and fall before his freshman year of college.) y'all are dumb. kid's legit.
He scores 39 points a game because he gets BS calls and goes to the line 20 times in a game, its not hard to score 19 points when Dekker is the only one who has the ball...then you add the 20 free throws a game and he ends up with 39, now if Lutheran had anyone with skill, who could actually play basketball, he would have even less points....and when your 6'8" and are a Wisxconsin recruit, you better be able to dunk...once he gets to college his dunks are gonna look weak...
yea but thats pretty sad that sam puts up all his own videos, seems like he is pretty full of himself for someone who has no post moves and just jumps into people to draw fouls from the refs whose d he sucked before the game. Also, if there wasn't dekker on your team i can confidently say you would be 2-7 right now with your only wins from stockbridge and elkhart...
@username00691 why would he put up a video of himself getting blocked? isn't going to the line a good strategy when trying to score points? you get to rest AND get free wide open set shots? who cares if he carries his team... that's what leaders are supposed to do. get a basketball IQ.
