When I see ancient egytian art I don't see them as either black or white. They mostly look a reddish brown. The Egyptians WERE NOT BLACK!!
Ancient Egypt was at one point invading by black Africans, but itself was NOT black. Very dark skin, but NOT black, though there were blacks in Egypt.
If you view their own artwork, their skin is drawn fairly light, though they are not as white as what some of the documentaries show - they actually painted their skin to make themselves lighter (which was seen as cleaner and more sexually appealing).
IIRC, there was one black conqueror/pharaoh, but not for long.

Of course, there was the presence of the Nubian Empires, which built tall and narrow pyramids, had great and wonderful histories and campaigns of their own. Call me what you will, but the archeology shows Egypt to have been an ancient multicultural civilization, one that appears to have its own heroes of MANY races. @nublackmusic Your wrong, The Egyptians themselves were primarily Arab/Meditteranean, even in their earliest history , their was black pharoes because of invasions from Nubia and Kush who were black fully, their were blacks in Egypt but Egypt has always been primarily Meditteanean people who are ethnically mixed to a minor extent with blacks at the most 10-15% black racial mixture and even that streching it alot, but blacks were a minority in egypt, original isrealites look like dark pakis
