Yeah that crash was all down to Alex DeAngerous. Nicky was very unlucky in 09 and should have been higher up the standings. Whether he can run with the aliens, I doubt anyone can! But he can be in the mix for best of the rest along with Dovi and the Tech 3 boys.

Nicky Hayden has a great way of saying what he means, i believe that his performance this season is not reflected by the position in the champlionship. he is better than 13th place, i believe that without the accident in qatar, motegi, misano and phillip island he would have been at least 6th place overall perhaps even 5th. He is a deserved world champion and next year, i believe he will perform to his potential and could even join the "aliens" at the front of the field.

Hayden made steady progress all year long. That crash was 100% de Angelis fault.
