Dunta Robinson and every other player in the NFL knows this. What did he do? He dropped his arms and lowered his head. He clearly led with the crown of his helmet. The video evidence is right there. He is looking at the ground at the point of contact! Look at it, unmistakable. Should be suspended.

The more i see the video the more i see nothing at all wrong with the hit. He did launch himself head first, but his helmet hit Macklin on the "chin" of the facemask only because Macklin seen the hit coming and turned his body. I think Robinson had every intention of planting his shoulder pad into Macklins head. Just didn't work out like that.

The NFL is becoming a joke. They moved the kickoffs up five yards in order to limit returns and diminish the value of special teams. They make it almost impossible for defensive players to sack the quarterback without being fined despite the advantage offensive players have in being able to hold inside the defenders numbers, double team, cut block, adjust schemes, and know the snap count. Now they are fining for this type of shit. We might as well start watching cheerleading competitions.

Safety rules in the NFL disproportionately protect offensive players and give them an advantage. If teams don't want their quarterback to get hit they should invest in better offensive linemen and adjust their schemes. The rules on how the quarterback can be tackled are ridiculous. While I agree that he lead with his head I am absolutely sick of seeing the officials throw a flag just because some one was hurt. That flag came in 15 seconds after the hit...if its a penalty then throw the flag immediately, don't wait to see if someone is hurt then decide if its a penalty.

Kinda hard to argue that point. Now, kick him out of the NFL or suspend him a year? That's a little extreme, people. If this was his first time, I'd say even a 1 game suspension is too much, but since he has been fined, reprimanded, and warned for such behavior, and STILL did it again, maybe he should sit out a game or two....
