SURE, but it IS in the NIST report. The most obvious candidate is NOT the
sheetrock, but the pressurized diesel fuel lines that fed the WTC 7 NYC
emergency communications center diesel backup generator (7th floor).
DIESEL FUEL BURNS AWAY, leaving it's SULFUR.
Nano Thermite leaves 30 TIMES MORE Barium Nitrate than Sulfur, and

No, he was not lazy. The rest of the steel from WTC7 was recycled with unseemly haste. It was moved from ground zero to the closed Fresh Kills landfill where it could have stayed indefinitely. Instead, it was shipped to Asia for recycling. It is nice to know that our government trusts Asians with the crime scene evidence but not Americans.

Free fall can only occur when a lot of the internal structure has already collapsed, like say in a progressive collapse.
The other physics principle to consider is moment of force, commonly known as torque, we know this played a part, because chandler found spikes where the building fell faster than g.

What a haphazard and sloppy experiment! There was almost no attempt to recreate the conditions the WTC steel was under. The ground zero fires burned for weeks at high humidity. His conditions - a well-ventilated, fast-burning, open fire - were nothing like the slow-burning, diffusion-limited and well-insulated fire in the rubble pile. As an attempt to reproduce the conditions seen by the corroded beam, this experiment was more or less worthless.
This fellow is smart. He should know better.

sulfuric acid from overheated uninterruptible power supplies could have flowed onto structural steel at a temperature of about 100oC, then started to react with the steel, and then was further heated eventually to a temperature of about 900oC. The sulfur would bond to iron and form more heat-resistant compounds (but far less heat resistant compounds than steel itself) first.
