this isnt activating it this is jailbreaking the iphone and you can change your firmware at felixbruns(dot)de and click ipod firmware and in the iphone/ipod touch/ipad/apple tv tab click the firmware u want and iphone model then download it go to itunes hold shift and click restore on iphone and click the firmware and tht should activate it and you can jailbreak it with 3.1.2 if you want on black rain but there are other methods
