Look - Is it not true that the officers of corporations are required BY LAW to maximize the profits in order to maximize the earnings of shareholders? Is it not also true that officers of corporations can be held responsible UNDER THE LAW if they make choices that do not provide the greatest possible return for the shareholders? So, isn't it CORPORATE LAW the source of nasty behavior by businesses, management and employees? Charitable behavior is contrary to the interests of the shareholders.
People and the world have to come together and put aside there differences and stop relying on other to solve ower problems only us humans that come together as one unit and helping each other out instead of working class, money and judging each other for fitting into anything has to stop! that's what's causing things to get bad. don't blame the feds blame yourselves.
@getalife67 - Well, sort of. No, we don't have to wait on the government to fix Skank Of America. Simply move your money and tell them why. If enough people do that, they will suddenly have a change of heart. But that's the fatal flaw in the "free market" notion. That the market has any wisdom to effect changes. We don't. We're mostly watching 'Dancing With The Stars' and wondering if Chaz Bono can get a boner and believing the ads that tell us if we buy Chinese toxic toothpaste, we'll get sex.
America is going down a path of destruction, the people in office only do things in there best interest to get re elected. The problem in America and around the world is that over population and minimal resources, jobs, food, America can't produce these fast enough for a I NEED IT NOW! society people have to get away from there I NEED IT NOW! attitude. Fixed it. Although we probably have adequate resources - they're just poorly managed and distributed - or managed and distributed by the corrupt. And reliance on technology isn't bad. Technology is a tool. You can build a house with a hammer - or hit someone in the head. It's how technology is used that matters.
Leading a life full of empathy and compassion will save you in your darkest hours... sadly its too late for these adults, who should know better, that mock those who they made homeless.
On my deathbed I will not need to question whether I am a good person or not, but I will anyway because those you leave behind need reassurance that at the very least they made you feel happy in your final moments.... and at the most, they made you feel human.
@CraigMetalHead In times like these it helps to have belief in a higher being. Humans have obviously messed up royally, and perhaps beyond anybody's ability to fix, at least in our lifetimes. Fukushima, Exxon-Valdez, the Gulf Gusher - the trends are too obvious. Corporations can't help themselves: they are ruining the earth at a rapid rate.
This is one of the most sickening videos I have ever seen in my entire life. It is a real shame to make fun of people who are struggling. This is exactly why we need a real revolution.
I heard that the footage of the people sipping champagne while watching the protesters was really from a restaurant nearby and had nothing to do with the people on Wall Street.
The shot callers at this mortgage abyss should get Madoffed. They should go play racket ball in a white collar prison for 20 years where they can't scam anybody else into homelessness.
this is screwed up i think people who dont have costumes should make the protests more known by going as protestors and have signs that say we are the 99% or something like that and ha bisky upload
