Actually, this is an all Australian band recorded at The Basement in Sydney. The Sax player's name is Blaine Whittaker. I know that because he is a friend of mine (I'm a trumpet player too). The rest of the band is David Jones on drums, Phil Stack on Bass and James Muller on guitar. Hope that clears it up

the sax players name is Jim Brewer. He did a few years on SNL before joining this band.

So, Just to give credit where credit's due...the great woodwind man Jerome Richardson wrote this tune years ago and Thad Jones arranged it for the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra.
