I don't see how this cross platform thing is going to work. Console games have a life expectancy of less than two years. Eve has been going for almost years. I personally think that with CCP releasing Dust 514 as a PS3 exclusive is a bad idea. I think they should also release it for PC too as the PS3 is nearing the end of is life cycle and once it's successor is released there will be next to no people playing it.

I don't know what xbox you were playing, but mine worked totally fine the whole time, and it never once has crashed since the release of halo reach. And I can validate that with all of my friends on xbox live who played online with me.
I think Microsoft just didn't want to connect with psn and pc because they wanted xbox live to be more secure. I don't blame them for that. I like xbox live because it is actually better quality than psn. Anyone who begs to differ with me on that must remember that psn was down for a month or two while xbox live is safe and secure. That's the different between free, crappy service, and better, paid for service.

We have MAG already. If they can take what is great about MAG and build on it and ensure the big games don't have the same glitching and freezing problems then this looks to be another hit for people to enjoy.

@MrFifaisbest well from what I understand CCP is releasing Dust as a PS3 exclusive mainly because sony agreed to foot the bill for nearly the entire development of the game. The catch ofcourse was that it would only be released on the PS3. I think the contract was made mainly because Sony wants to make Dust into the new halo. Any way... All contracts expire and when this one does I expect CCP will re release it for PC at the very least.

I think Microsoft just didn't want to connect with psn and pc because they wanted xbox live to be more secure. I don't blame them for that. I like xbox live because it is actually better quality than psn. Anyone who begs to differ with me on that must remember that psn was down for a month or two while xbox live is safe and secure. @MrFifaisbest well from what I understand CCP is releasing Dust as a PS3 exclusive mainly because sony agreed to foot the bill for nearly the entire development of the game. The catch ofcourse was that it would only be released on the PS3. I think the contract was made mainly because Sony wants to make Dust into the new halo. Any way... All contracts expire and when this one does I expect CCP will re release it for PC at the very least.
