  • In terms of music there's nothing I enjoy more than finding a rare gem by one of my favorite bands. Cheers!

  • @LENNYlanes

That's kind of pushing it don't you think? Just because someone wants another Core album to come along doesn't mean they hate change lol. Maybe they just really enjoy Core . I know I do. I'd like for there to be an album and it feed off the vane of Core, and maybe be similar to Core, but doesn't mean I hate change. I've enjoyed songs off most the albums they've released. I love every song on Core. Most songs on Purple like Vaseline, Unglued, Silvergun Superman, Big Empty, Interstat

  • How come this wonderful, incredible, epic song didn't make to an album?

  • i heard that stp is doing a 20th anniversary core commerative album next year with all the b-side mighty joe young songs on it, if so that would rock, i cant wait!!!

  • Cool tune . @ all the retards fighting in the comments : your pathetic .

  • wow....thanks!

  • Great song.

  • ya pasaron más de 15 años, editen esta canción por favor !!!

it was more than 15 years ago, edit this song in next album please !!

  • CHECK OUT MY BAND!!!!

    /watch?v=VndNEkHcPGw

    /watch?v=sU7zxfw6CiE

  • @britosl1 Fuck you please. Stop promoting your stupid band.

  • hey men, I'm really interesed in hearing all the unrealased material of the stp... can you support me?

  • I will honesty say that the Deleo brothers make the great tunes though. Army of anyone was good

  • Ripping of pearl jam?? Not a chance. Listen to this song, it's stp at their best. They fn rule. I love pearl jame though but who compares this to pj??

  • @Iknowgoodmusic ppl used to back in the early 90's when both bands were new ask anyone over 30 and they'll tell u !!!

  • Scott singles in this music?

  • @hillderloko No fool, Clay Aiken singles in this song, not Weiland!! Geez, get a clue!!

  • My favorite STP song ever.

  • This song is crazy good...Why did I not here this before...They should bring out a raraties album..STP RULES!!!!1

  • NO EXISTEN PALABRAS NI EXPRECIONES PARA DESCRIBIR LO KE ESTA CANCION ME PROVOCA...... STONE TEMPLE PILOTS LO MEJOR DE LA TIERRA¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • i remember when stp was new alotta critics and ppl also tried 2 say they were ripping off pearl jam!! i didnt and still dont see any resemblance at all !!

  • @shaunsstuff79 Eddie Vedder WISHES he sounded like Weiland.

  • @SpaceMonkeyHimself so is scott stayin off the fuckin drugs?/ i hope so cuz hes a talented artist and those damn drugs have fucked his life up enuff already !!

  • @shaunsstuff79 STP is too underated. My favorite band, no doubt about it. The best there is imo

  • @shaunsstuff79 yeah and they called them Names like "Clone Temple Pilots"

David Spade once said"yeah Stone Temple Pilots are on tour again,I liked them the first time when they were called Pearl Jam"

  • @tufDuffinchains LOL yeah and look at the careers of Spade vs Pilots nowdays !! NUFF SAID Pilots are still kickin ass and Spade is ??? ummmm well Spades still gay as ever LOL

  • @shaunsstuff79 Well Spade is on a show called rules of engagement it which get 10 million views an episode, but yeah STP will always kick ass

  • Re: David Spade: He's a fan of Scott. He was at the first-ever (unpromoted) Velvet Revolver show at The El Rey. (I know because I saw him there;)

  • @tufDuffinchains lol !..David Spade is an absolute moron, who knows nothing about music or STP or Pearl Jam..they both have their own sound and are on different sides of the musical spectrum..yes, they came out of the "grunge" (i hate that fucking word !) era, but it's like comparing Alice in Chains and Soundgarden..Spade is a talentless hack who shouldn't be making jokes like that when his own personal career is in the toilet !

  • @shaunsstuff79 True. Funny thing that from Tiny music onwards the fans are always expecting something like core. People simply can't understand that as musicians STP want to evolve, want to be free and create their music freely. Still, it's my favourite band, I love every song.

  • @numerosorte amen bro!

  • @numerosorte exactly, well said and for those who want core on every album you probably dont like change in all aspects of your life, i find that to b the case with those type of ppl

  • Another musicial erection, courtesy of STP.

  • @Followthategg noooo....if you don't like stp then idk if you like music!

  • @Followthategg You're ears and brain have no relevance.....

  • @TonyRomoAKARayFinkle Fantastic then. But you're right, fuck musical diversity. We should all like the music YOU like.

  • @Followthategg If you don't like STP, then you don't deserve to live!

  • @ElBrickShithouse Do me a favour, could you look down the page for my reply to the last person? Just to save me the effort.

    Great, thanks.

  • @Followthategg THEN GET THE FUCK OUGHTA HERE !!!

  • @acidbathgirl01 Hey I've got an idea, stop acting like a total bitch.

  • @Followthategg then stop being a little bitch :)

  • @acidbathgirl01 Is that it? That's your reply? You think it's alright to act like an utter cunt because i happen to dislike something? You must be super to live with.

  • @Followthategg I also disagree with your opinion...but i wouldn't bash you though...still don't know why ur not into stp this is a great band...prolly one of the best!

  • @Aliceinchainhead I think the rhythm of the majority of their songs is what i don't like, everyone has different tastes in music, for me i generally leaning to classic rock, Jimi Hendrix, Zeppelin, Rolling Stones etc.. But it's always fun to try out different music because people's taste in music is an ever developing thing.

I wouldn't in no way say STP is rubbish because it simply wouldn't be true.

  • @Followthategg you think it's alright to come here and act like a cunt just cuz u dont like stp? you must be retarded !!!! :o)

  • @acidbathgirl01 No, you were the one who decided to lash out because you didn't like my opinion, there's nothing provoking in my comment. Or can you remember that far back?

  • @Followthategg i didn't like your opnion because you decided to come to a stp video and comment how you don't like them, well they happen to be one of my favorite bands,so you pretty much pissed me the fuck off !! THANKS :)

  • @acidbathgirl01 Really?! So you get pissed off because someone disagrees with you?

  • @Followthategg

    Fair enough.

  • It's a crying shame this song was never rerecorded. It's among STP's best. At least we have this demo.

  • wow, fucking awesome, sounds like it was written in the Core era? either way, wow, this floored me, its awesome.

  • Amazing. Truly amazing.

  • YOU Rock AliceInChainHead!!!!!

  • this track sounds like most of the Core album.

  • i can't get over this song man it's like awesome everywere and if you want scott 2 go back and sing like this that means he would have2 do his drugs again and i'd rather him stay alive then loose another grunge era idol

  • Why his voice is so different now??? I loved the old Scott the one from Core, Purple, Tini Music and 4, please Scott comeback to your old ways..

  • is there any way you can send me the mp3 plz

  • ONE EVIL MUTHERFUCKER DISLIKED THIS VIDEO!?!??!

  • awesome song!

  • sborro

  • Bar house blues sucked. Weiland has the vocals to make the songs complete but the brothers make the music. Just like army of anyone that was a great cd. I wonder how the cd would of sounded with Weiland and not the dude from filter

  • @Iknowgoodmusic you mean 12 bar blues..ignorant fuck

  • this is truly a treasure for the poor to find i love it!

  • THANKS SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS UP! Gotta love STP

  • how can we get mp3s of these STP songs? i love them all, thanks for posting them

  • I will repeat the sentiment here that has already been said: Scott's voice is amazing here. I doubt he will ever be able to repeat this sound again (unless he does drugs again but we don't want that!).

  • @sweiland75 u like my weiland selections huh?!

  • @Aliceinchainhead I like just about everything done by Weiland.

  • @sweiland75 I'll be happy to send you some rare scott stuffs like i uploaded!

  • @Aliceinchainhead cool :)

  • @Aliceinchainhead Can i have it too? I'm a huge stp fan and I love every song

  • @Aliceinchainhead dude... is there anywhere you can get the 1994 crow version? this is one of my favorite songs theyve EVER done. and id cut my left nut off to hear a "cleaner version"

  • @sweiland75 Actually the drugs is what have taken his voice away

  • @numerosorte I figured that much.

  • @sweiland75 well thats whats said. when he recorded this and the rest of the "late 80's demos" he wasnt even on drugs. (according to him in interviews he wasnt on drugs for core and then started getting into heavy shit around the time they toured for it.) i just miss this voice.... he can still sing like this i know, because he does it live on their older songs... i just miss it. honestly imo, their self titled album would have been up there with alices BGWTB if he had sang this way.

  • @laynestaley1990 id love to see STP return to a hard rock sound for their next album... thats doesnt neccessarily mean making a core part 2... but just hard rock in general.. i think they do it just as good as anyone

  • @sweiland75 lol. I hope not either but I miss this sound

  • @sweiland75 Scott can sing like this anytime but since in the 90's STP got bashed for being grunge ripoffs he doesnt do this anymore

  • @Metalstryke That sucks, if it's true.

  • To @sweiland75

Hey man I don't see how drugs have anything to do with his voice.

Scotts voice is awesome one way or another, but I'll give you this much the problem seems to be -at least I see it that way- with his mood... his latest singing is too acted and carefully cared, just saw them in a live performance and they still rock, I think he just needs to let the good old angst feelings go, -not take over- but just flow.

  • @sweiland75 Yes, Yes we do.

  • @sweiland75 actually the drugs had made his voice raspy if you didnt know. Compare this to songs on TIny music, his voice is a lot different, and its because of the Cocaine and Heroin and other crap. So if he were to take them again, his voice wouldn't repeat this sound, but rather get shittier (which we don't like.) I personally think he voice is still great no matter what!

  • @jjc19461

No, he just got older. Harder to have a hard-edge voice like this as you age.

  • @tr14lz but drugs too contributed to his voice change.

  • @tr14lz i dnt think soo, look at perry ferrel from janes addiction hes 50 and sounds the same from the 90s,scott smokes too much cigs they fuck ur voice up

  • @sweiland75

Doing the drugs is supposedly what altered his voice. He was clean throughout this and Core, and also Velvet Revolver's Libertad.

  • First time hearing this. Very cool song!

  • I miss this sound!! I have given up on great music like this I dont think we will ever experience it again.

  • stone temple pilots..''decisamente unici'' juliify

  • How?

  • Best. Song. Ever.

  • Where can I find this song or download it any help will be greatly appreciated

  • @Lazyvegasbum i know how to get it for u

  • i prefer this to piece of pie

  • I think its pretty obvious why this wasnt on Core or released subsequently....because some parts (as someon already mentioned) are identical to parts of Piece of Pie!

  • this is so epic sounding

  • I cant stop listening to this song. I think this is STP's best song and I like every song from their first 3 LP's and a few off 4. Dean's playing rips, Scott sounds great singing the dark lyrics and Rob and Eric lay down an eerie ryhthm. Great band. Great tune.

  • one word: SPEECHLESS

  • this song is really amazing!!!

  • I, and alot of people, probably would love to hear this song on a new album, but the problem is Scott's voice wouldnt sound like it does here, so I guess its better to have this recording where its so raw and just great. Cant top it

  • Good song. shouldve made one of their albums. i can why they gave the crow soundtrack big empty. kinda creepy how this was the song for the crow soundtrack and then brandon got shot and died in that safety "mishap"....

  • Too bad this didnt make on the Crow sound track. This song is one of STPs best from the Core era.

  • Yeah it does sound like 1st record. Probably just checked it out for a minute.

@thelivingmodern: sorry bro, have every album, and have seen every tour including then open for Megadeth!, so.....

  • is it just a coincidence that scotts ex wifes name is Mary and his daughters name is Lucy?

  • some music lines are the same of "piece of pie" from core, listen from 1:28 to 1:40

  • @ALdoHaRo Yeah, you´re right and that´s the kind of sound I like

  • The backing vocals always was a STP registred mark. Since of the begin, like this music. Hey all, note in the Shangri-la Dee Da Album, this resource is more alive than never in STP Productions. Just listen songs like Days of the week, Hollywood Bitch and more.

Nave Mãe (Mother Ship Band) Rio de Janeiro - Brasil (It isn't w/z - It's with S)

Search in Youtube "Banda Nave Mãe - Rio 021)

  • How can you say that doesnt sound like Weiland? Thats classic Weiland!

  • wow

  • it's not the same song... just listen to the melody...

  • oh man, this song is just good old rock from the 90's. awesome

  • sbrave yeh its weiland its how he sounded on the first stp album core

  • THis was the best Mighty Joe young era track. I have them all if anyone wants a hookup

  • Are you sure this is STP? Doesn't sound like Weiland....

  • @sbrave go home dude...you obviously don't know anything from STP before No4 era... this is how the music industry should work again...sign on the strength of great demos and live shows

  • @sbrave dude, whre have you been? what the fuck??? Weiland had this voice in the best albums like Core and Purple!!!!!!!!!!!

    Aggggggghhhhhh!!!!!

  • good tune. to bad it didn't make it on the crow soundtrack

  • I wouldn't be surprised if this song gets released on the next album. They're releasing Samba Nova and About a Fool as bonus tracks on the deluxe version of their new album.

  • Let me be the voice of reason once more on a post where everyone is going crazy. This is not a great song! It's cool. It's good. But It's not a great STP song. It's one of those tunes that tells you who the real fans are. Real fans will like this. But it's more sade(spelling?) then STP.

  • @blacktopaz8 ...yeah? you think? A) this is a fucking awesome song B) just didn't make it on Core but easily could have C) everyone loves it and being a musician and music lover and STP fan I officially proclaim you are full of shit

  • this is how bands got signed back in the day...with an incredibly demo tape like Mighty Joe Young ;) and some great live shows

  • today was the first time i had came across this song. and i have played it probably over 20 times since. i cant get enough of it. Scott is the best, the only true frontman left. they need to release this on their new album. i with everyone else with this song. and i love the way he sings this as well. great lyrics and love the drums, and bass line. I agree with Bethshair...Robert is the bands secret weapon!

  • so agree

  • @jhunt40

im a huge stone temple pilots fan, but the one band thats better is soundgarden, so i dissagree, and say chris cornell is a better frontman.

  • @highgravity27 Scream was a slap in the face to me from Cornell being a fan.

  • buena muy buena carajo !!

  • I love it when scott sings like this. it's got that rough edge to it, just like all the songs from the core, and purple album. His vocals on the song "Dumb Love" is also reminiscent of the first two albums. All in all, Scotts vocals are awesome because he has such a wide variety of styles. But I love it from the first two albums. STP rocks!! Can't wait for the new album!

  • Sorry Aliceinchainhead, but fast as i can isn't the same song.

  • ya found out!

  • @rekkutsubasa Its learning to drive

  • Class.

  • Es genial,encontré la letra y es buenísima.Excelente.

    A esperar el cd nuevo!!

  • I love this song! And Robert's basslines are so cool. He's the band's secret weapon.

  • @bethshair absolutely

  • @bethshair and he's the evil mind behind most of stp songs. I love Scott, but Robert is the band's brain and an amazing bassist. So creative.

  • Been listening to that song 158 times (in 2 days) *lol* Crazy me!!!

  • That is so amazing....oh my fucking god!

  • nice one thanks mate

  • this is awesome. like it wasnt completely mastered since its on a demo but still amazing. rlly the only UNRELEASED song off the Might Joe Young Demo that i like

  • STP forever.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is there anywhere to download it

  • Subscribe to me if i ever get done studying i'll post a link to all my videos so you can download the mp3 im sorry ive just been busy and i promised a lot of people same thing just hit the subscribe button not trynna get my counts up idc bout that just saying so you'll get a notification!!

  • This was originally recorded for the crow soundtrack, but was taken out due to Brandon Lee's unfortunate death.

  • Wow, I can hear Core in this one. How incredible. Thank you for uploading, this song is amazing. It even has Weiland's arcane whispering in the background, which Core is full of. Leave it to YouTube to make the esoteric available for everyone!

  • u can hear the resemblance to plush and piece of pi in the guitar

  • I can't understand why they didn't release this song back in 1992 in their debut album!!!??? This song could easily fit in the Core Album!!! What a waste!!! What a shame!!! :(

  • It was made for the crow soundtrack but after Lee died they took it off with makes since. But I heard this is on the Might Joe Young soundtrack

  • Comment removed

  • go on my page and look for the song Fast As I Can...they got that song on there new album!

  • @AOCRkid they should but they wont. Be excited though because I heard the new cd sounds like a mixture of core and alice in chains. Should be interesting they never dissapoint.

  • so fucking good song

  • im looking for that album!!..where i can find it??...that song is awesome...

  • love this tune...for some reason it reminds me of the police.

  • nice!!

  • Great song! STP if you're reading this... release the rerecording NOW!

  • I've been told the new cd they will put out this summer has the old sound like this song or off core. My buddy saw them a couple months ago and he said they played new songs that are like this and old alice in chains

  • esta de la csm!!!...

  • @bilboslagins i laughed when i read this, because i know both of the songs, and they are very very simple and overused 4 chord lines... if i had a lot of spare time, i would post about 100 popular songs of the 90's with the same scale and basic progression, take care

  • really name some songs.....do telll just give us a good 5 or 6 from the 90s

  • Wow! your a fucking musical genius.

  • this song is so kickass.. first time hearing it too

  • love it!

  • but you bashed AITSTUW from thank you...thats the newest STP song but its a classic to me cuz after that song was why i started listening to other stp songs...now i heard plush and other songs but never knew it was same band as stp...sorry i was a late commer but oh well! I love all and everything stp they've never failed not in one song...all albums are good even Shangri!

  • i really don't get STP fans they always bash the best stp songs and albums damn AITSTUW is a damn good song!

  • for those of you who do not know, and sorry if it has been mentioned, this song was initially supposed to be released on "The Crow "soundtrack, but was replaced with "Big Empty" after Brandon Lee was killed on set. I kinda thought this song would have fit in best with "No.4", who knows, it may yet get officially released. This was originally recorded on the band's demo when the band was called "Mighty Joe Young". Yes, it is amazing
