We, from Connecticut, are behind you too!! (We  had a local officer almost shoot a neighborhood non-agressive pitbull who had gotten lost, as well if front of our 14 year old. The cop called the dog 3 times over to him, with the dog's tail wagging, the cop sprayed pepper spray into the dog's eyes. Then the cop raised his rifle and aimed at the dog, my husband yelled, "Don't shoot the dog" and the cop lowered his rifle. The dog turned out to be a fellow officers dog! This needs to stop!

We are working hard here in NC, we are forming a "concerned citizens comittee", if you will, to put as much pressure on Cabarrus County as we possibly can. They are killing 80% of dogs and cats that walk through their doors. That is a staggering number :(

Press on my friends. You are not rolling over and I salute you. Cabarrus County Commission, you need to take action against this egregious abuse of power by your Animal Control Dept. This is the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. Civil liberties were shot down with Bella. We will not rest until justice is done.
