ZEHREELA INSAAN was drected by Puttanna Kanagal afte the super success of Nagara Haviu (1970). The story and the songs are all super duper hit. Unfortunately his hindi version sunk in the boxoffice, except for this one song :-(

Don't be so dissapointed, I can see RD Burman made conscientious effort to add his own touch to the theme tune "Summer of 42', obviously RD was inspired too and his attempt was equally heart piercing. I just love this song.
